The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) The rumors in this case were correct, and Pam Bondi was sent packing as AG. I discuss this at length here in my substack. She apparently "begged" Trump tl let her stay, but this was, according to this report, over the leak of details of a doc dump on Eric (Farticus) Swalwell), which was labeled an "unforgiveable offense." Be careful what you wish for. If her successor shows no more arrests in, say, three months than she did in 18 (with the failed exceptions of James "Scrotumtoter" Comey and Big Tish Letitia James), then we have some very, very serious issues to consider. First up should be Merrick Garland, who ordered the FBI's Mar-a-Lago raid despite no probable cause. Meanwhile, revenge of Bondi? Just hours after her dismissal, a dawn raid in Skinny Minny resulted in two Somali judges arrested with cocaine-and-fraud charges. Nevertheless, I continue to think that MN was just the dry run for Kollyfornia, where, as Christopher Rufo argues, the Oleaginous Butyraceous Gruesome has created an "Empire of Fraid." Right on cue, the FBI arrested a bunch of Kollyfornia "hospice fraudsters." Then DHS arrested a "Milwaukee Islamic leader" for fraud. Couldn't be connected, could it?

2) A CO appeals court overturned the nine-year sentence handed down to Tina Peters in the 2020 election fallout, and sent the case back to the judge to adjust the sentence to only what she did, not her political views. It's a victory, but I'm skeptical that this hater judge will cut her a single break.

3) This analysis of Trump's Iran strategy is pretty good, although I think he underestimates the difficulty of militarily opening the Strait, which would requier a LOT of boots on the ground in the hills and mountains overlooking the Strait. Still, he is right that this is mostly about re-ordering the world around US! At any rate, "The Punisher" SecWar Hegseth sacked three top generals, no doubt Zero holdovers. Iran finally shot down a U.S. plane, but the pilot was rescued.

4) Wait, this is from the Slimes? "ActBlue may have misled Congress on vetting foreign bribes, er, donations." What does this tell you? That the Slimes is anticipating still MORE, MAJOR CRACKDOWNS and is trying to minimize the charges and get ahead of them. The Slimes even cites ActBlue's own lawyers. Jeff Childers, in his "Coffee & Covid," noted that these allegations come as the DemoKKKrats are already in trouble with fundraisi9ng. (Not even counting Trump's $300 million election stash for 2026, Rs have $106 million in funds, while DemoKKKrats onlyi have $17 million). This fundraising edge is "keeping DemoKKKrats up at night." Wait, I thought they were not only taking the House but the Senate, the EU General Assembly, and Pootie-Poot's Supreme Soviet. Why would they be worried?

5) President Trump's White House ballroom got final approval. Remember this is a new military facility underneath it. Is this where the human-alien cross-breeding is taking place? Look at it this way: we can teach these aliens a proper foxtrot.

8) Kollyfornia under Cackles persecuted David Daleiden for 11 years for exposing Planned Murderhood by going undercover with videos. Now Kollyfornia has dropped the final charges.

9) The Amazing (Moron) Zohran plans to blow $10 million on activists, then claims New Kabul (NYC) is broke. He is rapidly killing his presidential hopes, darn it. JP Morgan Chase's Jamie Dimon noted that fully half of the Fortune 500 companies in New Kabul in the 1970s were gone now. And it's not just FL and TX that are helping dry up New York's tax base: AI is about to hit.

10) Libs' "Demand Justice" lobbying group fears Trump will have two more Supe picks. The bad news is that the rumored retirees are Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas.

11) Another relic of the Senate, the "blue slip" for blocking judicial and prosecutorial nominations, is holding up 94 U.S. attorneys. The Senate is rapidly becoming even more useless---even obstructionist---than the House.

13) So a on April 1 I ran a story about former Congressman Matt Gaetz who said that he was briefed on an Army program of cross-breeding humans and space aliens. I thought it might be an April Fool's story, but alas, here is the extremely reliable Cong. Tim Burchett saying the country would "come unglued" if we saw what he saw and knew what we knew about aliens. Do tell? SPEAK UP.

15) In the race for the nation's most moronic mayor, it's a dead heat between the Amazing (Moron) Zohran, "Let's Go Brandon" Williams, and Karen ASS. Ass may have leaped into the lead after boasting of a homeless cleanup right before a mass brawl at a homeless encampment that supposedly was "cleaned up."

16) A few voter registration numbers. Rs net gained over 500 in NM, 4,000 in LA, and over 5,000 net in FL. Both sides lost in DE, with DemoKKKrats losing about 200 more than Rs. In ME, DemoKKKrats lost about 12,000 more than Rs. In IA, Rs net gained about 350 over DemoKKKrats. One tiny bright lightbulb for DemoKKKrats was MD, where they net gained about 700. But they even lost ground in RI of all places.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

17) Not surprised: Half of social science studies could not be replicated, according to a years' long test. I've explained before, there is nothing whatsoever "scientific" about political science or other "social sciences" because human behavior even from minute to minute in a single person cannot be replicated.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

18) Supreme Court? We don' need no stinkin' Supreme Court. Trump instituted 100% tariffs on some foreign-supplied pharmaceuticals and adjusted tariffs on steel and copper. Notice the words "eliminated," "terminated," or "halted" weren't in the headlines.

19) First Cracker Barrel, now Hershey's has had to back down due to consumer outrage and the response of H. B. Reese's grandson who said the reformulated candy was "garbage." Reese will return to real chocolate for the Pieces. Food Processing Magazine (yes, there is such a publication) calls this the "Great Reformulation" with outfits such as Steak 'n' Shake returning to beef tallow and other producers eliminating the dyes that RFK, Jr. targeted.

24) March jobs report was off the charts at +175,000 beating the ever-erroneous "expectations" by over 100,000.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

IN MEDICAL NEWS

26) A new peer-reviewed paper says that the China Virus vax, despite what the author calls a "potential temporary protection" may have increased mortality.

AND FINALLY . . .

27) I guess I've heard it all, as Jonathan, the 193 year old tortoise that was feared missing has shown up---exposing a scammer trying to use the poor relative of Yertle's for a crypto con. Have you no decency? This turtle is almost as old as most Senators! Have some respect.
