HEADLINES: VA redistricting struck down by a judge; The Slimes is concerned about those laid off from USAID; TX puts the Ten Commandments back into schools.
The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow
IN POLITICAL NEWS
!) A judge already struck down the goofball partisan VA redistricting "referendum" measure as violating numerous state and federal laws. And once again, shocked I tell ya!, massive votes in Fairfax County came in from mail-in ballots late. This must stop. President Trump called it out for what it was---just like 2020---a "rigged" election.
2) Further investigation into the Socialist-Pushing Lugbucket Chowderheads (SPLC) shows they laundered up to $27 million in gubment funds for their own ends of "finding hate" (did they look in the mirror?) and so far, none of the high-profile donors such as George Clooney have said a peep about the abuse of their money when the only "hate" that was out there was being generated by the SPLC. Surprisingly, the New Clinton Broadcasting System (CBS) reported the whole story fairly.
3) Another court victory as the once-hideous, but now somewhat reliable Ninth Circuit blocked Kollyfornia's effort to de-mask ICE officials.
4) Part of President Trump's overarching Iran strategy is a targeting of ChiCom financial support pillars. Likewise, the Punisher, Pete Hegseth said that the pressure on Iran is "going global" in shutting down all sea lanes to the Mullahs.
5) Not surprised in the least as "Secret Witness 2" in the Trump Ukraine impeachment was an anti-Trump intel officer.
6) Ok, this is getting down right creepy. ANOTHER top scientist, a NASA scientist involved in thermal dynamics, was found dead, this one in an AL parking lot where his Tesla had crashed into some trees. Joshua LeBlanc is the latest mysterious death, so far with either 11 or 12 depending on whether one includes a nuke facility property manager (which, I know, may be a stretch). Here is my take on these disappearances.
7) The New York Slimes was doing its best to make people feel sorry for those laid off because they were soaking up USAID money in one form or another. Nope. No compassion here at all. You guys sponged off taxpayers for years. Welcome to the party, pal. What the Slimes doesn't ask is why their, er, "skills" don't transfer to the private sector. Now that's a question.

8) In MD, Carroll County State's Atty will leave after his term is up because the state is too woke.

10) A new book shows that the "Math doesn't work" for Darwinian mutation.
11) An appeals dourt ruled that TX schools may post the Ten Commandments in classrooms. There was a study by behavioral engineer Dan Ariely in his book Predictably Irrational, in which Ariely engaged in a four-step test. First he told his students he would give them a quiz (I don't recall the # of questions) in which he would pay them $1 for every correct answer. That established his baseline---again, don't recall precisely but just say 50% correct. Next on another day he gave another quiz, same renumeration, but before the quiz he secretly gave the answers to a student---who apparently shared, because the scores jumped by 20-30%. Next, he repeated step 2---quiz, pay, secret answers to a student---but added another element, namely before the students went in for the quiz he asked them to think of their favorite song lyrics. No change from the elevated scores. Finally, he repeated step 3, except instead of remembering song lyrics he asked students to remember as many of the Ten Commandments as they could. Scores dropped not quite back to the baseline, but almost. Ariely concluded that merely being put in awareness of a moral code increased moral behavior.
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
12) The White House said that Chy-na and other "foreign adversaries" have launched an "industrial scale" effort to extract U.S. AI secrets and tech. Well, the good news is that they must not think their own stuff is up to par with ours.
13) A new study warns that Kollygornia is just about to enter a massive period of self-imposed gas shortages. Gas is now over $8 a gallon in some spots, but as David Blackmon notes, the crisis hasn't even hit yet. It will. And hard.
14) The latest Amazing Moron Zohran effort to decapitate New Kabul (NYC) via "wealth taxes" are a "kill switch," and Morning Bullets notes that markets don't "fear" such taxes, they model them, as in, LEAVE.
15) The Hill sees some of the handwriting on the wall: "Cut Better Deals, but Don't Shutter AI Data Centers." Sorry, little Hillrodents. DemoKKKrats are incapable of working with real, growing business. Dey kain't hep it. Dey wuz born dat way.
16) Starburqa is expanding in TN, not WA, costing Seattle millions of dollars. Boo hoo.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
17) The boardroom of BP is the latest battlefield for the climate change lobbyists, where apparently some greenies are trying to tank BP's stock because he has shunned green spooge.
18) David Blackmon, the Rush Limbaugh of Energy, explains why gas is cheaper in the U.S. than almost anywhere on earth, and the answer is taxes, taxes, taxes.
19) With all eyes on Iran, President Trump has a new deal with Cuba in the making. Gee, I don't know if Muy Macho Marco can handle being czar of yet one more domain.
20) Wow. This is what illegal immigration into Europe looks like. That continent was almost better off under the Huns and the Mongols.
21) Well, you mess with the bull elephant, you get the tusk as this big game hunter was trampled by the pachyderms.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
22) Just pedal on out of here, as ChatGPT screwed up the history of guitar fuzz tones, wah-wah pedals, and other, and when an expert pressed it to change its story to lies, well, of course it did. I saw Jimi Hendrix live. While I didn't know him, I sure knew his sound. ChatGPT, you're no Jimi.
IN MEDICAL NEWS
24) This is bery, bery important because initially many people thought RFK, Jr. had lost with the goofball judge's ruling that he couldn't restructure the ACIP vax committee because many of the members "weren't qualified" due to their opposition to the vaxxes. So the ACIP committee of Bobby's choosing was indefinitely postponed, except, now, as Jeff Childers shows, the judge shot himself in the foot because with no ACIP committee there are no vax recommendations, and with no fed vax recommendations, well. . . no vax recommendations hence no cash for Big Pharma. Bobby has established new criteria for the ACIP board, but those are being slow walked---which is good now, as it appears we will head into fall with no vax recommendations of any kind! Uh oh, Big Pharma. And just like that, The Punisher Pete Hegseth says the Department of War will no longer require flu shots. Oh, the humanity! Again, Childers shows how traditionally a White House would float an idea for a proposed program; the opposition forces and (usually Hoax Media) would immediately coalesce to stop it; the Administration would moderate or eliminate the change altogether. Not Trump. His administration acts first, then dares the opposition or Hoax News media to stop the program. This is 21st century life.
25) President Trump, announcing more drug price cut arrangements, was joined by a once-deaf two-year-old whose hearing was restored by Regeneron.
AND FINALLY . . .
26) Just the latest from the "Dindoo Nuffins" as a woman arrested for driveing 123 mph claimed it was ok because she was in a "Supra." Now, I myself have toyed with the excuse that when I was driving 75 in a 60, the highway sigh said "I-75" so I thought that was the speed limit. Guess it was a good thing I wasn't on State Route 143.
