HEADLINES: VRA decision continues to reverberate; More red states to redistrict; Collins gets a break in ME

The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Rush Limbaugh always used to say "They will tell youi whom they fear." I paraphrase that. They will tell you whether you are winning, and how serious issues are. The Supe strikedown of the Voting Rights Act is driving them insane. Zen Master, who follows leftoid court reactions, said this when I said, "This is good for us": "This is GREAT for us." Note the response from Slate. No one knows for sure yet how many net new seats this decision will give Rs---because Al, LA, and FL were already going to redistrict, but ultimately this should still add a couple more seats to Rs. Now, factor in these huge, and I mean massive, voter roll purges that are removing DemoKKKrats disproportionately in almost every case: latest is OR where Judicial Watch has forced the removal of 800,000 (!!!) ineligible names from voter lists. Understand that the whole redistricting strategery was apparently a national, coordinated plan, as instantly Gov. Jeff Landry in LA announced the temporary suspension of primary maps and re-drawing of non-racist maps. This is the "second wave" after NC, OH, MO, and TX (with the DemoKKKrats responding with CA and VA). But like good generals, the GOP had its reserve corps, LA, AL, and FL. DemoKKKrats threaten to send int the 13-year-old boys in a round of redistricting in IL, CO, and NY, whereupon I think---if that materializes---KS, NE, and IN will grudgingly redistrict with the outcome roughly GOP +10 net. AL has asked the Supes to review whether it can redistrict already. Gov. Kay Ivey says Al is "not in a position" to redistrict, but positions change. GA Republicans are also now seeking to redraw their map. There are similar calls in TN, which up til now was on no one's redistricting radar. What about the threats, 'Oh, noooo! Now more blue states will redistrict." They can't. IL was just squashed in its racial redistricting. And DOJ reminded the DemoKKKrats they will enforce the Supe ruling everywhere. Uh oh, DemoKKKrats. As Zen Master told me, this applies to all levels of office holders. No more special carve-outs for minorities at commissioner, mayor, or anywhere else.

2) CNN tells us that the GOP/Trump are hanging onto black voters. Indeed, currently blacks give Trump a higher approval than in his first term, by 11!

3) Janet Mills in ME has been forced out due to lack of funds. This leaves only the far, far left candidate to face Collins. This is a big win for Susan "Tom" Collins. Seth Keshel argues that ME voter registration is good news for ol' Tom, but also that historically she has run more than two points to the right of any polls. Personally, I think this is huge. I had this race as a loss, offset by NH. Now there is actually a chance for a pickup. One of Seth's recent reports show that several of the DemoKKKrat candidates are not doing as well as projected.

4) But don't kid yourself:: ALL the DemoKKKrats are going to face funding issues because USAID is shut down as are the Somalil Learing Center fraud banks. Ttwo of the largest investment funds, Fidelity and Vangard, now will not allow any donations to the Spoogified Pimping Lawfare Center (SPLC)

6) You know this was an absolutely great ruling when Mother Jones said it was the "death blow" to the Voting Rights Act---as did Justice Kagan---and Slate hysterically screamed that it was the "worst ruling in a century." The New York Slimes used the "some fear" line to say what the reporter fears. Jeff Childers, as always, provides a great review of what "they" say. He quotes law professor Michael Dimino as saying “The decision is very significant for the future -- it will remove an unfair advantage for Democrats.” 7) Meanwhile, there is a major offensive underway by RFK, Jr's HHS, the Senate, and the DOJ against the vaxiopathic Eco Health Alliance. Look for still more indictments and firings related to this.

8) President Trump's $10 billion defamation case against the BBC will begin in February 2027 as a judge dismissed the BBC's bid to dismiss the case. Looks like the Trump Presidential Library will have a couple of additional wings.

9) As I said on Wednesday, the indictment of James (Scrotumtoter) Comey may just be the foot in the door. A newly declassified email shows that Comey and Zero agreed NOT to proceed "by the book" in trying to get President Trump. Comey ordered the incoming National Security Advisor---which would have been Gen. Flynn, had they not already gotten him---to conceal details of the Russiagate investigation. So there may be more here for the evil Scrotumtoter to chew on. Breitbart reports that now DoJ is also investigating a separate classified leaks from ol' Scrotumtoter.

10) The latest SpewMore Shutdown has ended. Honestly, I hadn't noticed it was shut down. Did you? Of course, if you're the Secret Service and you're not getting paid, that's a very big deal. At any rate, DemoKKKrats gained nothing from this shutdown either.

11) It is really good for our side that the moronic DemoKKKrat mayors seem to think that driving out the wealthy is a good thing. First the Amazing Moron Zohran got into it with Citidel's Ken Griffen, now Seattle's woke blodgetpig, mayor waves goodbye to the billionaires. Great. Now get rid of the Seattle Seahags.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

15) The "economic surprise" index keeps showing economic surprises on the good side for the US, on the bad side for the Euros. That is partly because even our economic/business media is so far left they cannot understand what is happening. Treas. Secretary Scott Bessent said that the Treasury Dept. is ramping up for "Operation Economic Fury."

16) Thermos has recalled 8.2 billion bottles after reports of "vision loss."

17) Jobless claims are way below what was expected. The economy, it seems, is picking up.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

18) Iran has announced fuel rationing. But, of course, "Iran's winning." Oh, and OPEC? As this observer notes, OPEC didn't collapse. Trump bought it out, one state at a time.

19) The U.S. Treasury just froze Iranian accounts that contained $377 million in crypto. Wait, I thought one of the big selling points of crypto was that this couldn't happen?

20) There have been sharp, double-digit declines in ChiCom exports to the U.S. and imports from the U.S., meaning Trump's decoupling is working. This is the sharpest drop since 1979.

21) Africa may be splitting apart faster than expected, forming a new ocean. I'm guessing, what? 10? 20 million more years?

22) It's not even funny anymore. Bloomberg says "Euro Zone Growth Slows . . . " then adds the ever-present "Unexpectedly." Who thinks the Euros are ever gonna grow again? As Irena Slav shows, there have been reports of slowing for the entire year. But "Unexpectedly." And German industrial growth fell . . . "Unexpectedly."

23) Lufthansa already announced 20,000 flight cancellations this summer due to "unexpectedly" high fuel costs.

24) President Trump just cut Italy loose for failing to support our effort to keep Iran from having nukes that could hit . . . Italy. Good. Let all the Euroweenies pay their own way. Pull our bases out.

25) India decriminalized hundreds of offenses that could have landed you in prison.

26) Remember how we were supposedly killing all the whales? Yeah, a record number of humpbacks were spotted near South Africa. The once-extinct Bandicoot has now been released into Australia's outback after its numbers recovered. Heck, everyone needs a Bandicoot, right? I'll name mine Billy. Billy Bandicoot.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

28) Straight out of Breaking Bad: this subject was running a meth lab out of the University of Michigan's largest academic building. Hey, ya gotta make up for those revenues lost by falling enrollment, right?

29) A saxophonist fell asleep on stage during an anti-Trump rant at a dinner for Cackles. My question: why was anyone awake?

IN MEDICAL NEWS

AND FINALLY . . .

31) Really good news here, as phone-free social events grew by 567%.
