IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) Acting on intelligence that the Iranians were going to try to shoot down Air Force One, the Secret Service ushered President Trump off on the opposite side of the plane in a catering truck and onto another aircraft. Then the Hoax News media realized they didn't get to go in the catering truck, and if there was an attack, they'd have all gone down. No loss at all, except for the pilot and crew.
2) A sure sign Occasional Cortex is plotting a larger political run, as she has distanced herself from many of the DSA's radical planks such as defunding the police, saying that it was only a Covid lockdown measure. (Huh?) Occasional Cortex, after announcing she would freeze her eggs, broke up with her long-time fiance.
Meanwhile, the DemoKKKrat Fascist Socialists of America of course blame Israel for the Oct. 7 attack. Same as the leftoids blamed America for 9/11.
3) It is increasingly clear that the DemoKKKrats in 2017 were willing to break any law to stop Trump. Now it is revealed the FBI opened a probe into AG Jeff Sessions, which may explain why he suddenly became so lily-livered.
4) I don't do polls, but for those of you who do, this generic gives the Ds a national 2 point lead, a disaster for them. They need +5 I think to take the House. And it appears DemoKKKrats are still having trouble coping with the cancel culture they built. Perhaps one reason is that the leadership of the DemoKKKrat Fascists of America is almost all white. But Rs keep getting their own social-arena bad news: Cong. Lauren Boebert's 21-year-old son was arrested on child sexual exploitation charges.
5) A cyberattack in Suisun City, CA, left the whole city without 911 capability.
6) Flock-o-phobia spreads. My home, Chandler, AZ, has ended its use of Flock cameras, due to misuse of the cameras by police employees.
7) Hunter Biteme says his family is broke. Yeah, pal, coke will do that to ya. Oh, he means Rutabaga. Yeah, dementia will do that to ya.
8) IN primary voters in Senate District 23 saw another lameoid who wouldn't vote for full redistricting there get swept out. TAW (Trump Always Wins) Darlene Graham, Lindsey Graham's sister and holder of a Trump endorsement, heads to a runoff with Rep. Ralph Norman for the SC U.S. Senate seat. Norman is a great guy, but already Graham has voted a couple of times with Trump, supported SAVE, and so on. She will likely win. In WI, we had Revenge of the Sith, when David Crowley in an upset defeated DemoKKKrat Fascist Francesca Hong in a primary for governor. With Hong, R Tom Tiffany stood a good chance of winning. Now the "moderate" (and remember, in the DemoKKKrat Terror Party there is no such thing) Crowley will be the favorite. In MN, House Speaker Lisa Demuth ousted MyPIllow's Mike Lindell to claim the GOP nomination for governor, but is at a name recognition disadvantage to Amy "Clubber Lang" Klobuchar. Trump had endorsed Lindell almost certainly due to Lindell's amazing loyalty.
9) Homicide rates keep on fallin' in major cities, no thanks to morons like the Amazing Moron Zohran. FL is now the safest big state in America. Just the opposite is happening in Kollyfornia, where an 11,000-person white town, Piedmont, which has its own schools, police, and taxes, and which is surrounded by Oakland is facing attempts by activists to "cancel" it Well, I hope you white libs there are just lovin' this.
10) US Marshals found another 48 missing children in a World Cup operation in MA. Again, I wonder if the Eppy Files leads played a role? Meanwhile the FBI is looking to obliterate global scam "compounds" and operations abroad. Not sure how the FBI can do this. Foreign work belongs to the CIA, unless governments are requesting the FBI's help.
11) Meanwhile, I sure hope Kash Patel is focused on cleaning up this pond scum receptacle, as it is now reported the FBI had info from 14 different informants on Rutabaga's corruption but tried to dismiss it as disinformation, one of the must hideous terms ever invented.
12) Ward Churchill, the uber-left and totally crazy U of CO prof who was woke before the term existed, dead at age 78.

13) New AI tech allows farmers to use weed zapping machines that take the place of spraying chemicals.
14) The rogue AI breaches over the weekend alarmed some, but many industry techs say these were merely tests that never escaped the "sandbox."
15) Is this how Skynet wins? Security officials at major AI companies are facing "decision paralysis" after recent AI cyberhacks.

16) The State Department has yanked over 175,000 visas so far.
17) There have been 16,000 arrests in the "Make Washington, D.C. Safe" campaign.
18) Ho hum. Just another day in the Rutabaga psycho ward, as an illegal released by Rutabaga killed his roommate with a machete.

19) An interesting take from Jeffrey Tucker on why we don't read as we should. People are increasingly not reading actual articles or books but what people said about them. I'm particularly guilty of that when it comes to video. Don't send me a video. Send me a summary of what it says.
21) The U of Michigan is going to "ease grading" to combat student mental health woes. The "ease"=no grading at all, just pass or no pass. Yeah, that's the ticket to high-achievers.
22) Good news, bad news. The good news is that failing fertility on the left is a big deal. The bad news is that it is driving an overall U.S. fertility decline.
IN TRANSOID NEWS
24) A study refutes the notion that bullying brings on homosexual or transoid claims of health problems. No, homosexuality and transoidism ARE the health problems.
25) The fall of the state of CO is one of the most mystifying developments of the last 30 years. Not long ago, the state had a solid GOP majority and Republican senators. Now it is reported that CO has had a state homosexual/transoid grooming operation for years.
26) This is going to be fun. Enos Kanter, a former NBA center at 6'10", now "identifies" as a woman for the sole purpose of playing basketball in the WNBA. Supporters tweeted, "It's your time, queen." And Australia has had to allow a 6'3" 200-pound man to play in women's soccer. No sympathy, lady lesbians. You did this to yourselves.
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
27) Right on cue, inflation fell in July. Still a little high, but headed the right direction.
28) Meta ("Meta" means death in Hebrew) and several other social media platforms lost their attempt to have multiple social media addiction lawsuits dismissed.
29) The DOW flirts with 54,000. All who have 401Ks rejoice!
30) Kollyfornia's high speed rail project, which seems to be dead in the water, will run out of money next year, says the state's Inspector General. That won't stop Gruesome, who will merely steal from other legitimate sources.
31) Total employment is irrelevant. This is the only chart that matters. Gubment employment falling faster than the "Supergirl" movie.
33) Taylor Farms may have more food recalls, this time jalapenos suspected of carrying salmonella. Well, for most people, jalapenos do not need to carry anything to have the same result.
34) Shake Shack tried to sneak in higher prices if you didn't tip, was caught, then blamed a tech error.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
36) Now The Atlantic is arguing for massive human-built cities in the middle of the rain forest that included "thousands of green metropolises." These "metropolises" were wiped out by a comet . . . or something. Who knows, maybe "The Real Housewives of Biloxi" ran one too many seasons and everyone killed themselves.
37) More than 3,000 missing after a Colombian earthquake.
39) Mediocre Britain's PM has told affluent areas that they will have to house migrants.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
41) The Los Angeles Lakers were sold to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for $12.5 billion. As a Suns fan, I hope they lose every single game next year except to OK City.
42) In UT, a hydrogen-powered car set a new world land speed recrod of 406 miles per hour. That's faster than a doordash headed to LIzzo's.
IN MEDICAL NEWS
43) President Trump signed an executive order to change the childnood vaccine schedule, stretching it out. He reduced the total number of required vaxxes from 72 (!) to 11, which, as Jeff Childers notes, is pretty close to what Denmark requires---and we have to do like the Euros cuz they have oh-so-much-better health, right? The order also removed all aluminum from vaxxes and moved many into the "shared decision" space of parent/doctor.. But the Washington Compost thought that might be too confusing for parents. The order also allowed the DOJ to go after states violating the religious freedom aspects of refusing vaxxes. (Right now, two red states and four blue states prohibit parents from using religious exemptions.) At any rate, Childers reminds all of us how just a few months ago Reuters, Politico, and the New York Slimes and others were celebrating, thinking that Bobby Kennedy had been pressured to abandon the vax issue. Meanwhile, former NFL quarterback and commentator, Cam Newton, said that many of the players and coaches faked their Covid vaxxes. Up until now, only Aaron Rodgers had come out as opposing the vax.
44) Brownstone Institute's Jeffrey Tucker says that the purpose of the lockdowns was to thwart herd immunity long enough that they could mandate a vax.
AND FINALLY . . .
Wolfgang Bodison, who played Lance Cpl. Harold Dawson in "A Few Good Men," was Rob Reiner's location scout. Reiner was not happy with any of the actors who auditioned, so he convinced Bodison to play the part.
