SOMALI FRAUD, DIFFERENT TAKE ON THE ECONOMY, TX DEMOKKKRATS IN RETREAT

THE NEWS OF TODAY IS THE HISTORY OF TOMORROW

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) I'm going to say of this poll what I say of polls I don't like: I don't trust it. This national generic poll has Republicans up 4%. But, it doesn't matter because voter registrations confirm more this poll than others.

3) Our friend Shipwreckedcrew explains the Somali fraud problem. Via contracts with schools and the gubment to provide lunches, various products including meats had to come from NGOs. Believe it or not Scott Johnson and Powerline has been on this story since 2018. These NGOs had to be located in po neighborhoods where at least 50% of the kids were getting freebies.

4) I have posted most of these separately, but Seth Keshel does a good job of summarizing the most important voter registration numbers, and they ALL look good for Rs. NC will be a red state within two months at most. PA may be red by 2028. GOP margins are growing everywhere.

5) Kollyfornia is heading for an energy drop-off cliff. Since 2007, the state's domestic oil production has fallen 65%, reliance on furrin energy, up 70%. This is a national security issue. You cannot have a giant coastal state, with a massive economy, in thrall to furrin evil rotatorglands. As David Blackmon, the Rush Limbaugh of energy has pointed out countless times, even if Kollyfornia (like other states) had the production capacity, its pathetic infrastructure is third world due to high costs. It's top pipeline operates at just 17% capacity. And President Trump put an end to the state's goofball EV mandate, which is a problem because Kollyfornia has put most of its eggs in the failing EV basket, er, socket. Since Trump just killed Rutabaga's preposterous CAFE standards, Kollyfornia will be particularly hard hit. Rutabaga was on a demented jihad to eliminate gas-powered cars in America.

6) Roger Kimball argues that Trump's influence is only growing. He will truly go down as one of the great men in history. (Horace Walpole once wrote that only great men---not good ones---can change history because they are willing to do what must be done.)

7) The Trump administration suspects widespread fraud in programs administered by the Small Business Administration and have ordered them to turn over all records.

8) The coldest and harshest winter in 12 years will hit the U.S. So, all that "global warming" stuff is bovine excrement?

9) More winning (and more use of the infamous "poised to"): Supes appear "poised to" hand Trump a victory on agency firings.

10) Republicans are on the winning side, again, in PA registering a small net gain in voters after two months of small losses.

13) Tehran confirms the U.S. has deported more Iranians.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

16) The great Ryan Burge shows that those who are religious are more likely to have a job; and that those Christians who don't go to church are more likely not to be employed.

17) Suspensions, yea, discipline is down in schools, violence is up, despite the early attempts by Trump to root out DEI. This will take a while.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

18) Dollar General Store, where almost nothing is a dollar anymore, is opening over 500 new stores.

20) Trump has created a task force to investigate food industry price fixing. Normally that would have been done by any number of agencies, but so many DemoKKKrat cinderbiscuits still inhabit too many agencies.

21) A fascinating review of where the current economy is from Cathy Wood shows that capital investments are growing, inflation has flattened (today's inflation numbers beat expectations in a good way), even housing is looking a little better, the BBB tax cuts are, in fact, going to make a difference and that there are still too many people looking for work, despite a 4% unemployment rate. See my today's substack for further political analysis of this.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

22) Euro leaders are conspiring against President Trump's Uke peace plan to save Green Screen Zelensky. Evil, rotting, toadstools. They make Napoleon look positively benign.

24) X users skyrocketed after the goofball Hun-led Euros fined X $140 million for not complying with their fascist dictums.

26) The Euros' new "Digital Services Act," which is a DEI-type fascist oversight program to control speech, has levied fines against X for "unapproved thoughts." Are these bladderpumpers even listening to themselves? Meanwhile X just terminated the Eurospoogies' ad account.

27) AI was responsible for over 92% of growth in the first half of 2025. Concerns about an AI-bubble are growing.

28) Norway is going from net energy exporter to importer. That's because---wait for it---Microsoft is building a $6 billion AI hub (read: energy guzzler) there. Now, at least the headless Thompson gunners understand that Norway has plenty of water.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

29) All four members of KISS, plus Sylvester Stallone and Gloria Gaynor received Kennedy Center Honors Medallions from President Trump.

30) Former hot influencer Milo Yiannopoulos admits he was partly to blame for the mainstreaming of homosexuality 10 years ago. Through therapy and his Christianity, he has now abandoned homosexuality. We're prayin' for ya, Milo.

So, here's my Milo story. Around 2017 I got a call from a mutual friend who had been asked to head up Milo's new artwork department for his empire created by funding from a major conservative family whom you would know. They had pledged $10 million to his "Dangerous" site, books, and other political/cultural offensives. I was hired, at a very nice advance, to produce my biography of Ronald Reagan, which I did. Fortunately, 2/3 of the advance was front loaded. Then I started hearing about problems, including on the publishing side. Before long I learned the whole "Dangerous Books" had been canceled, as was my final advance payment. A wonderful and amazingly virtuous editor at Dangerous did not think that was right, and finished editing Reagan: The American President free. In lieu of my final advance payment, I was given the rights back to my book, which I then placed with Post Hill Press. It came out in 2018. Yanni went into a self-imposed exile when the wealthy family turned what was supposed to be a donation into a loan! The Reagan book came out, and to my disappointment, was not a hit. But I was well compensated by Milo and then by what subsequent sales we did have.

31) Actor Eric Dane has shared the details of his battle with ALS: "I still have my brain and my speech."

32) The stricken Cleveland Browns---easily the most consistently bad team in the NFL---are ready to bring back QB DeShaun Watson, whom they are paying over $230 million and who has been the target of two dozen sexual harassment suits.

33) I am still on the fence about "Avengers: Doomsday." So far, I'm not thrilled about the unofficial trailers. Here is "Critical Drinker's" assessment of what is coming. Basically, two big observations: First, few women. Marvel spent five years trying to force girl bosses on us, to no effect. So they are missing. Then there are several teams who will fight Doom, and the "Fantastic Four" are gonna be the "F . . .ed Four," as they won't last a minute. "Thunderbolts" will be easily crushed. My concern is that in the attempt to bring in so many characters---essentially "Endgame," but without the previous 13 movies that provided all the background. What I've seen from the story line, it's ragged, to say the least. Seriously, as one of the biggest Marvel fans out there, I may not even go see it.

34) Paramount/Skydance is not giving up on its acquisition attempt for Warner Bros., warning of a "hostile takeover" after the Netflix bid was announced.

IN MEDICAL NEWS

35) President Trump has ordered a speedy review of the entire childhood vax schedule, and RFK, Jr. says "We're on it." He added, "The tide has officially turned" against the over-vaxxing of kiddos.

AND FINALLY . . .

36) Lost Bach pieces were performed for the first time in 320 years. Unlike the "new" Beatles' stuff, it is not AI.
