IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Lindsey Grahame, known here as Linda Grahamnesty for his role in the aborted "Gang of Eight" amnesty attempt under George W. Bush, died yesterday at age 71 of a ruptured aorta. Ironically, Grahamnesty's death only highlighted the life of Senate Majority Leader Mitch (Yertle) McConnell, who has been admitted to a hospital after a fall, and went through a battery of tests. After KY gov Andy Beshear requested that Yertle provide an "update" (i.e., proof of life), Yertle posted a picture of himself with his wife, looking to be in good spirits. But while Grahamnesty wasn't nearly as old as the 84-year-old Yertle, his sudden death seemed to again highlight the aged status of many in the U.S. Senate, with several in their late 70s: Dick Turban (D-IL), Maize Hiro-no-no (D-HI), Ed Markey-Mark-and his Fascist Bunch (D-MA),, Peter Welch (D-VT), Dinobernie (I-VT, but of course a commie D), Angus King (I-ME, but, again, a D), Little Dick Blumenthal, and Republicans Charles "The Lawnmower" Grassley (IA) and Jim Risch (ID), all of them over 75. The Lawnmower is 91. Although Grahamnesty was young by comparison, it seems his death will reignite a term limits debate (with term limits being declared unconstitutional by the Supes in the 1990s). Many of us disliked Grahamnesty's incessant warmongering, but the fact is, he was 180 degrees opposite people like Banty Rooster Trey Gowdy, who talked the right way and voted the wrong way---or did nothing---Linda, when the chips were down, basically saved the nomination of Brett Kegger Kavanaugh, and voted with Trump more than 90% of the time. Oh, and Grahamnesty served 33 years in the Air Force JAG unit, and in his 23 years in gubment, he amassed a whopping fortune of . . . .$1.6 million. Yeah, real corruption there. We could do a lot worse than Lindsey Graham. Better? Maybe, but certainly a lot worse. With Graham gone, Ted Cruz inherits leadership of the rules committee meaning we can see if (as I think likely) he was just blowing smoke when he said they could use the rules to pass HIS OWN DAMN BILL, the SAVE Act.

2) Besides the Pleistescine Problem affecting mostly DemoKKKrats, ME isn't getting any more favorable to them. First, Oysterboy, the Poitted Platner finally withdrew after insisting he wanted to name his own successor. ME members of the DemoKKKrat Terror Party, suspecting he'll name some lumpen proletariat porkbelly, are trying to seize control. Oh, and keep in mind that the Potted One had won his primary with over 70% of the vote. Take that, democracy! But it's not just the TweedleDee and TweedleDumDum of the ME senate race: the previous anticipated candidate, Gov. Janet MIlls, who withdrew earlier in the year due to lack of funding, may have had said lack of funding because her brother's weed business was raided and the money pipeline cut off. Politico claims there is a "growing firestorm" over DemoKKKrat House members meddling in primaries. Doubt it. These are the same "party activists" who rolled over when the party not once but twice screwed Dinobernie.

3) It's clear why people want these senate gigs: Last year the Senate worked only 79 days. I know union workers who put in more time than that. Heck, a Metallica rock residency at the Sphere logs more work time. It's only July 2026 and the useless Senate is holding a new round of confirmation hearings that should have taken place (most of them, at least) last July.

4) Voter registration numbers continue to be in flux during primaries. FL remains a juggernaut, now at a net R lead of 1.52m. And again, too bad we can't box some of them up and ship them to GA, although finally in the governor's race there the R went up on a poll---but I don't believe in polls so . . . . IA saw a weird development as DemoKKKrats gained 10,000 in the latest report and yet fell 10,000 further behind the GOP in total registered voters. Another mixed report out of PA, where Ds gained 4,800, but saw their active voter lead fall to less than half of what it was in November 2024, a mere 60,000. And you know I don't do polls but the latest NC Senate poll only has Michael Whatley trailing by 4, which is definitely doable given the heavy NC Republican active voter edge. Then there is the growing body of evidence that non-citizens (probably even some non-humans) voted in elections. A certain AZ Data Gnu said that was impossible, yet here we are. The FBI thinks otherwise and has flooded Fulton Co., GA with over 200 investigators. And to ensure that we find and prosecute said nonexistent fraudsters, Trump has removed all of the DemoKKKrat members of the Election Assistance Commission. This was made possible explicitly by the Supes recent ruling in the Slaughter case, and occurred specifically because the commission ,members were aiding and assisting states to, well, cheat. Nor are the DemoKKKrats making any inroads with the white working class.

5) In the preliminary hearing of Charlie Kirk's alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, "devastating" evidence of his guilt was presented. But Candace . . . . Said alleged killer admitted he did it in text messages; his transoid lover said he did it; his mother said he did it . . . . There appears to be only one person out there who says he didn't, and she has no connection to the case at all.

6) President Trump abruptly switched planes, using the older Air Force One as opposed to the newly-gifted Qatari Air Force One due to concerns the new plane didn't have enough security features, including anti-aircraft missiles. Subsequently, several New York Slimes reporters got subpoenas for allegedly leaking classified info about the plane's security systems.

8) Just the latest leftist to warn that the DemoKKKrat Fascists of America (sorry, DemoKKKrat SOCIALISTS, but what's the difference?) are a real threat to democracy. And this author warns in the same vein as I have that the real danger to DemoKKKrats is that the DSA is showing people who they really are.

IN AI NEWS

9) Big Brother alert: Flock, the company that makes the spy cameras for cities, is under fire. In Auburn, CA, a mysterious group---waitaminnit, couldn't have been the Patriot Front, could it?---stole all the cameras and dumped them in a canal. You go, Auburn! On July 11, Jeff Childers dedicated most of his "Coffee and Covid" column to the Flock Follies,  Of course, city officials, such as those in Groomer City (SF) say they are "catching criminals faster" using the cameras. Really? I don't see Dr. Fallacy or John Brennanski in cuffs yet. But I digress. Jeff correctly notes that this is not a camera story but an AI story because it takes gridirons full of data processing to use the insidious little varmints. Of course this won't get abused. Nooooo. Well, except for Cape Coral, FL (where yours truly played in his rock and roll days.) CC is putting cameras on garbage trucks to spot code violations for more money. But wait for it! Next your homeowners association will want to be linked into these smelly spies. The Supes already ruled that "geo-fencing" (collecting bulk phone data) is unconstitutional (thank you ACB). And your average Tesla has more cameras than it does passengers. An even bigger abuse involves cops using Flock to find girlfriends, track ex-wives, and, as Jeff explains in detail, "personal reasons." Multiple cops have already been fired for said "personal reasons." Childers, in this, and another column, lists close to a dozen of these police perps. Meanwhile, many cities are ditching Flock.

10) A giant influx of transoid "refugees" into Seattle has caused a major "civil emergency." Nonsense. These are salt of the earth types. They can't cause problems . . . can they?

IN CULTURAL NEWS

11) Ryan Burge shows that the Archdiocese of Detroit, despite a 2.2% population gain, saw mass attendance fall by half and is averaging a 4% per year decline. Among the problems this creates: its churches are way too big for the number of parishoners. The woke Presbyterian USA church lost 26,000 members over the last year.

13) There is a silent moratorium going on against Jewish authors who are not explicitly anti-Israel. Tell ya what, ya bimbopimples: Try that with your doctors.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

14) America's housing shortage is expected to soon flip to an oversupply.

15) Jersey Mikes---my fave---has unseated Chick-Fil-A as the "highest rated" fast food chain based on the American customer satisfaction index.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

20) Guess it's not all Muslims, as ChiCom migrants in Germany were charged with running a group chat that shared rape advice. This column says the Huns are finally waking up to the ChiCom threat. Speaking of the ChiComs, they are revising their household registration work system in deference to falling population numbers. The system was designed to keep people in the country, but is failing. For example, this article shows that the ChiComs are getting poorer, with retail sales of cars, furniture, and appliances falling by double digits.

22) Thanks to its jihad against air conditioners, the Euros had 10,000 excess deaths due to the recent heat wave. Here in AZ, where it's routinely 105 to 110 in the summer, I can't recall a single report of a heat-related death. CUZ WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONERS, YA MEATHEADS. In France, for example, the heatwave forced the shutdown of a nuke reactor.

28) Trump has had it with unsupportive Spain, ordering all trade to be cut off.
