IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) The RNC ended its convention with a long but often moving speech by President Trump who, for the first time in public told a detailed story of the assassination attempt. He also kissed the fireman's helmet of the slain Corey Comperatore. It was a unifying speech where Trump only used Biden's name 2 times and said, "I'm not going to use that word anymore."

2) Too funny: two old geezers yelling at each other on the phone as Botoxic called Rutabaga and told him the data say he can't win. Then he started yelling back. Finally #2 staffer Mike Donilon took over the phone at Biden's end. Meanwhile, it's July 19 and the DNC "virtual convention" vote is to happen soon---yet Rutabaga is still the candidate. The Hoax News Media Coup, therefore, has resumed after pausing for the attempted Trump assassination, with the New York Slimes saying Rutabaga is "more receptive" to stepping down. Doesn't sound like it, does it? Then Newsmax's Mark Halperin said unequivocally Rutabaga would step down this weekend. But the Rutabaga administration has not been as forthcoming. According to the Nothing But Communists (NBC), the Rutabaga campaign says he's staying in the race, as does his campaign chairman. Privately the Rutabaga campaign is saying "we can't catch a break." Maybe that's cuz God can't stand your evil slime.

3) In a phone/zoom call with Dem Congressmen, Rutabaga went full dementiarage and was yelling. A Bronze Star winning former Army Ranger asked if Rutabaga's mental situaion was a national security risk, and the Demented Pervert yelled "I put NATO together." (Harry Truman might beg to differ). Tell me! Tell me who the hell that is! Tell me who put NATO back together! Tell me who enlarged NATO; tell me who did the Pacific basin!” Then he got personal and utterly despicable: “Tell me who did something that you’ve never done with your Bronze Star like my son,” Good God, can we not have one statement by this phlegm-brained addle-pickle that doesn't include St. Beau?

4) This DemoKKKrat has previously written insightful stuff about campaigns. He says the DemoKKKrats are in a "doom loop" and everything they do to either keep Rutabaga or kick him out reduces their chances to beat President Trump.

I have one quibble: they have NO chances to beat President Trump.

5) THIS is the reality that confronts DemoKKKrats if they try to slip in Harris. She loses by 4-6 points more than Rutabaga . . . and she is the only one who can use Biden/Harris donations! Anyone else would have to start from scratch. But that doesn't diminish the fact that Rutabaga is losing worse than ever. Now in the latest Communist Broadcast System (CBS) poll, Trump is at 52% and has a five point lead over Rutabaga. And Emerson's latest poll has President Trump crushing Rutabaga in the swing states.

6) Meanwhile, the "Liberal Patriot" (I think he's the only one), Ruy Teixeira, said the GOP has placed a "working class bet." Although Teixeira tries to hedge, it's clear he thinks this is a winner.

7) This is a brilliant move by Team Trump. Although Kampuchea Harris committed to three dates for the veep debate, J.D. Vance and Team Trump say, "not so fast. We don't even know who the veep IS?" LOL. And this recommendation? YES. Trump should sue these people on the "Sandy Hook/Alex Jones" grounds "until they bleed."

9) Financial services research team Gavekal is preparing for a "massive red wave" in November.

10) Shocked! The Secret Service is surprised and "appalled at the criticism of DEI female agents, who were mostly useless on July 13. The SS, like the three letter agencies, needs to be totally deconstructed and rebuilt with patriots. Speaking of useless SS DEI hires, the current so-called director of the SS, Kimberly Cheatle, hid behind her own agents as furious GOP Senators and Congressmen chased her down demanding answers. And they should demand more answers on the patsy, Thomas Crooks, who according to a classmate was a "known Trump hater."

11) CNN's Van Jones, a loony leftie, nevertheless has some solid comments once in a while and he said "A virus stopped Joe Biden but a bullet couldn't stop Donald Trump." Truth!

12) In a very significant decision for election integrity, the Ninth Circuit Court affirmed an Arizona law that says proof of citizenship is needed to vote.

13) Well, this had to hurt Grand Moff Garland: the DoINJustice had to start dropping obstruction charges against Patriot Day (J6) prisoners in light of the Supreme Court's recent ruling. Should never have even happened.

14) A Muslim cab driver beheaded a statue of Jesus in New York. Sorry, Mohammed, the King of Kings is still alive. The entire Roman Empire and Jewish religious hierarchy couldn't kill Him. Neither can you.

15) Astronomers have found a "light source" that turned on the lights in the Universe. Psst. His name is God.

16) This is so typical of our government agencies today. NASA spent $450 million to develop a new moon rover, and now is canceling it due to cost overruns. (Er, chowdergulpers: that would be in large part Rutabaga's inflation that is driving up costs of everything, including metal, plastics, and computers).

17) The Eighth Circuit, in a broader ruling than the previous Missouri court, blocked all aspects of Rutabaga's student loan forgiveness.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

19) The great Ryan Burge on views about traditional family roles for women vs. careers: in 1977 almost 3/4 agreed that society was better off if women took care of the home. Today it's only 25%.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

20) Don't look now but the tech giants are going the opposite direction from "net zero." Look at the latest reports from Apple and Amazon.

21) Even as officials were trying to paper over the collapse of the offshore wind crap-monsters near Nantucket, there were new problems arising that required Rhode Island to report collapsing wind blades (10 years after construction, when it was promised they would have a 30 year lifespan).

22) This requires some investigation, as Trump Truth Social stock was heavily shorted just before the assassination attempt. Now, it is soaring., rising by 30% after the assassination. So despite everything they tried to do, Trump has gotten even richer.

23) Great news, as Ford is diverting $1.3 billion from electric cars back to good old gas powered cars.

24) Adidas dropped Bella Hadad after her pro-Pale statements.

26) Monthly housing costs have nearly doubled since 2020.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

27) The Paris Olympics opening ceremonies were thrown into chaos as performers threatened to go on strike for higher pay and better conditions with just a week to go and tickets having sold for over $3,000 apiece.

28) This is how much a presence President Trump is: a group of Ugandan kids staged a reenactment of Trump's attempted assassination and victorious "fight!"

29) The average Chinese person now eats more protein than the average American.

30) Great news as the founder of "Just Stop Oil" was handed a five year jail sentence.

31) There was a massive international internet outage. The cybersecurity team Crowdstrike said it was not a hack or an attack but a glitchy Windows update.

32) Rioting is occurring in the Muslim sections of Leeds. Gee, who would have seen that coming?

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

33) "Hillbilly Elegy" movie based on J.D. Vance's book, Hillbillly Elegy, is topping the Netflix charts. Typically, stupid so-called "critics" give it low scores, but audience scores are over 80%.

34) This is interesting only because if anyone can save Marvel, it might be the Russo brothers, who directed "Infinity War" and "Endgame." Can they save Marvel from Disney's woke? There were a couple of quasi-nauseating scenes in "Endgame," but for the most part it remains one of the . . . yes . . . greatest movies ever made.

35) One of the few bright lights left at Faux News, Lou Dobbs, dead at age 78.

36) And one of America's truly great comedians---the master of dry humor---Bob Newhart, dead at age 94.

37) Now this is funny, right here, I don't care who you are: uber-hater Keith Olberdork wants CNN to fire Van Jones for speaking truth to power. I love it when libs attack each other.

38) "Twisters" gets good reviews. This is one I want to see. Loved the original with Bill Paxton. "Best show since 'Top Gun'" but, horrors! It fails to mention climate change. Great now we can all go see it.

AND FINALLY . . .

39) Taco Bell drew the ire of customers for altering the size of its soft-drink cups, making them smaller. Psst: They have a soda fountain where if you eat in, you can refill as many times as you want. Now, I do have a REAL beef with Taco Bell: When are you guys gonn bring back the BellBeefer and the Enchirito??
