IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Van Jones, a hardcore lib but not a nutjob, said that governors and other DemoKKKrat Terror Party officials are calling him in a panic about the commies in their party. Gee, Vanderpump, you guys embraced this for 20 years and lied about the fact that they were commies. Chickens coming home to roost? But here is just another indicator that the DemoKKKrats are in massive trouble. Usually they outraise Rs by a good margin. Now? Rs are outraising them. And in the ongoing "Days of Our Lives" senate primary in ME, no sooner did the party get rid of Potted Platner (who won 71% of the primary vote) but the new guy, Troy Jackson, has anger management issues. Again, none of this bothers the rank and file DemoKKKrat Terror Party members, but they are desperate for someone who "looks" normal who can beat Susan "Tom" Collins. It may not matter because Trump's new mail-in voting regulations now upheld by a court allow the USPS to require ahead of time a list of absentee and mail-in voters whose ballots will be bar coded. As Jeff Childers noted, this goes a long way to knocking out any mail in fraud, as it's impossible for unexpected truckloads of un-bar-coded ballots to appear. Equally important, the bar coding eliminates any backdating of postmarks because the ballot is traced through the entire system---including when it went into the mail. Moreover, lifting the stay in the case means the USPS can act now---before the midterms.

5) Even the Hill has to admit that journalism has zero credibility anymore. Only 17% of Americans have much confidence in journalism. The thing is, it really has been this bad since the early 1990s, hence the success of Rush Limbaugh and Faux News.

6) Little Natey Silver says that post-grads with lower incomes (guess why? Cuz their degrees are in transoid basketweaving) are the MOST likely to vote DemoKKKrat.

8) It's as if every Republican in the country is moving to FL, which added a net 14,000 (!!) new R voters last month for a lead of 1.529 million. Out in the AZ governor primary, my Congressman Andy Biggs won with more than 73% of the vote over David Schweikert (no relation).

9) Remember those pollsters and "influencers" like Masshole who said Trump would lose the base over Iran? Yeah, good times. He currently has the highest level of party support in history. Oh, and Politico is very skeeered, as Trump/MAGA "Inc" are not spending any money at all in primaries for "red on red" violence, but are saving it for the DemoKKKrats in the general.

IN AI NEWS

13) AI insiders warn the industry to tap the brakes, as so far, no one is making cost on AI.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

15) Ah, those hot-tempered Amish. A MN migrant allegedly executed three apartment staffers over a parking contract dispute. TROP (The Religion of Peace) trademark at work again.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

16) This is pretty significant: for the first time since 1990, the Billboard Hot 100 has no rap music on it. Certainly Taylor Swift having 12 songs on the chart at the same time didn't help, but long ago I predicted rap could not sustain itself because it wasn't "hummable," that is, it could never make a transition to "elevator music" the way so many other standard songs did. Think of your "muzak" playlists even in places such as Wal-Mart---Jefferson Starship, Tears for Fears, and so on. Why? Because people can hum along (or even sing along) with them. Impossible in rap---but, I have to admit, it took way longer than I imagined for rap to begin to fade. But wait! It gets deeper. Guess what is seeing a resurgence? Classical music. I would say these are small, but important indicators of a national restoration of culture.

17) Harvard got $630 million from Chy-na, so the DoJ wants to know who in its various distribution systems was left out, i.e., anti-ChiCom groups?

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

18) Kelly Loeffler, head of the Small Business Administration, says that the U.S. is forming new businesses at a record rate, about 513,000 per month.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

20) Irena Slav notes that the "capture rate" (that is, the subsidized, guaranteed rate) for solar is pathetic, and becomes worse daily the more solar that is built.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

24) ESPN, which is hemorrhaging money, fired racist commentator Ryan Clark and the utterly un-informative Cam Newton in cut down measures. Clark, in particular, turned off any and all white viewers except members of the DemoKKKrat Terror Party, and was fired in the middle of a broadcast..

25) There are only two players in the WNBA that anyone other than Lesbians want to see: Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, the latter being a pretty, saucy blonde who has a network of marketing going on. So, of course, the WNBA players association wants to ban her "finger pointing" gesture because it's derogatory. In other words, they must do what they can to dampen support for white, feminine players.

26) "Avengers Doomsday" released its first official trailer. Gotta say, the more I see of this and hear about the circuitous plot, the less interested I am in it. And it must not only be a blockbuster, but it must top "Endgame" to have any real impact on the Marvel Comics Universe future.

AND FINALLY . . . .

27) Ooooook. Don't think I've heard this one before. A MA mime was accused of terrorizing women by stripping nekked and coating himself in cooking oil. And no one thought to toss a match? Anyway, for your listening pleasure, Weird Al's "She Never Told Me She was a Mime."
