HEADLINES: Noem "reassigned"; Unconditional surrender from Iran; Bad/good jobs report
The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow
IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) President Trump reassigned (but did not "fire"--at least I cannot find that language in any statement by Trump, only by the Hoax News media) Kristi Noem from heading Department of Homeland Security. There were two issues, as I see it. First, she spent $200 million on a DHS ad campaign, ok in and of itself, to encourage illegals to go home. The problem was that a) she apparently did not clear it with Trump, or do so in a way he remembered, in that there was no paperwork and he didn't remember approving it, and b) she put her (beautiful) face on the campaign. People who work with Trump (ask Steve Bannon) should realize that he is the star. He is the Jerry Jones of D.C., but with far more Super Bowls. Don't try to upstage the Boss. Second, she and Cory Lewandowski, never a favorite of mine, apparently engaged in an illicit relationship despite her denials. Both are married. This in and of itself wouldn't bother Trump so long as it remained quiet. He ain't the moral police, but neither will he allow people to overtly slime up the administration. Techno Fog thinks it has more to do with sweetheart deal contracts. At any rate, Trump has appointed OK U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin, of Cherokee descent, as her successor, and he likely will be confirmed. Mullin is a hardend populist---but, a resurfaced video has him calling the murderer cop Michael Byrd who shot Ashli Babbitt a "hero." Yikes. I like Markwayne but he has some 'splainin to do. Trump also was bothered by the ICE deaths in MN---both well deserved. But of course he wants is cake and to eat it too---all illegals gone without any fuss, muss, or bloodshed. That, unfortunately, will be impossible given the evil, vile, violent character of the Left. Noem will head up the "Shield for the America's" task force. Jeff Childers sees this as a part of a much larger, absolutely strategic and massive restructuring plan in which, like a pro football general manager, Trump has gotten the GOP younger by, on average, 15 years in seven different senate replacements. Meanwhile, as Jeff correctly asks, who is on the DemoKKKrat bench? What is their succession plan? Still, here is why you don't ever fire or even "reassign" someone like Noem: Axios: "DemoKKKrats Turn their Sights to Bondi after Noem Firing." You can never, ever give an inch to these people. Besides, I thought Bondi didn't scare DemoKKKRats?
2) Mixed signals but today Jeanine Pirro, the D.C. top prosecutor, says the investigation into the autopen is hardly over, contradicting an earlier statement that the investigation ended.
3) Trump wants unconditional surrender from the mullahs in Iran, then he said the U.S. will help "rebuild" the country. I hope that rebuild is limited to a few oil well specialists.
4) GA's legislature is looking at a bill that would allow property owners to sue local governments that don't keep the homeless off their property.
5) Some 350 members of Congress voted AGAINST making public the sexual harassment claims against them. Shocked, I tell ya.
6) A WI blodgepodger was sentenced to seven years in prison for trying to burn down a congressman's office. And in a "couldn't happen to a nicer person," the mayor of Groomer City was attacked downtown by a "crowd of bums." How DARE they use such language to label "home-challenged people with alternative affections for drugs."
7) Trump's approval now is higher than either that of Barack Obama or W in their administrations at this same point.
8) Gosh I miss the Rutabaga. He just told a mostly black crowd at the funeral of the "Rev." Jesse Jackson that "I'm a helluva lot smarter than most of you." This comes on the heels of Oleaginous Butyracious Gruesome telling a black audience that he was just like them because he couldn't read.
9) Typical. A DemoKKKrat congressman's SOTU guest was named in police reports involving sexual assault and juveniles. But noooo. Let's talk about Kristi Noem having an affair with a man.
10) Trump made it clear to "Can't-Carry-a-Thune" and Cornhole that he won't make an endorsement in the TX senate race until the SAVE Act is "on my desk." Ken Paxton said he'd drop out of the race if Thune overrode the "silent" filibuster and passed the SAVE act. What would be perfect is if he stays in, SAVE passes, Trump endorses Cornhole, and Paxton still wins.
IN EPSTEIN FILES NEWS
11) Student sleuths at the University of Florida have revealed that one of the people in the new UF presidential search had "stronger" ties to Eppy than first thought. Wait for this guy to slip on a banana peel and withdraw. Ghislaine Maxwell and the candidate, Doug Band, had emails with "flirtatious language." She said she was (sic) “ploting disgustungs things w/you or I should say your body.” Band replied: “And what I would do to you 2 chicas.” Oh, Band was one of Clinton's right hand men after his presidency.
12) Eppy was an early investor in a condo owned by Shreklette (Chelsea Clinton). Nothing odd about that, right?

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS
13) In a trifecta, Trump has won another deportation case before the Supes, 7-2, with Kagan siding with the conservatives on this one. Trump, or, rather, Bondi, also won a case in the Ninth Circuit which said suspending all refugee programs is entirely lawful and Congress gave Trump the power to do it. Also, the Seventh Circuit vacated an injunction n the use of force by ICE.
IN CULTURAL NEWS
14) This assessment of woke, Helen Andrews says that it was brought about totally by the way women try to get their way, namely through "feminine" techniques, and that it's extremely important that "everyone gets their say" even if they are stupid or wrong. Men wage conflict openly, women can't or won't. More important, men developed methods to wage war then settle the peace quickly, while women, well, just won't let it go. If, the authoress writes, the law becomes feminized then the whole system will look like a Kegger Kavanaugh hearing. Andrews concludes by saying "It is an artificial result of social engineering, and if we take our thumb off the scale it will collapse within a generation."
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
15) The failed state of Kollyfornia, with its self-imposed gas crisis, is now looking at $8 a gallon gas.
16) In a surprise, the U.S. lost 92,000 jobs last month. However, foreign-born employees fell by 519,000 since 2025 and American-born employees increased by 128,000. This is a fundamental restructuring of the U.S. workforce in the right way. ADP said that private sector employment rose by over 63,000 and pay has increased 4.5%. Some of the overall decline in jobs may be Iran, some of this may be the tariff decision. This whole thing has until, in my estimation, August to get turned around. SK Battery laid off 1,000 due to falling EV demand.
17) Meanwhile, the U.S. has cut its trade deficit in half since Liberation Day.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
18) My substack yesterday was "The Dragon in the Room," about a long-term objective of the Iran strikes as further weakening Chy-na. It's workin'. Not all are pleased: Qatar is canceling its gas delivery contracts due to threats from Iran. The Russkies are foolishly giving Iran targeting info to attack U.S. assets---something that even Gorby didn't do in Desert Storm. Meanwhile, Iran has delayed naming a new "Supreme Leader," possibly because they have the shelf-life of an open can of tuna fish. In the Napoleonic age, a British flagbearer lasted just a few minutes. One regiment went through seven before it even swung into action, meaning an Iranian Supreme Leader couldn't even last as long as a Limey flag-man.
19) The BBC is being shredded for editing a Pete Hegseth speech just shortly after they did the same with Trump---and may end up with a massive contribution to the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library.
20) Scottish police are hiding asylum hotel-related crimes out of fears it might "spark violence". You know, more violent than gang rape by Muslim giggle-diggers. 21) Trump has organized Latin America into a conservative "Shield of the Americas" with, ah, Kristi Noem heading up the operation.
22) Those brave and oh-so-human Canucks are offering same-day suicide, including one elderly lady who changed her mind. They said, "Too bad."
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
23) President Trump realizes there is a "likeness" problem involving athletes, entertainers, executives due to AI.
24) Very interesting trailer release news. Normally this wouldn't be a thing, but if Disney is to survive, it absolutely must restore Marvel to its "Endgame"-level heights or popularity. The Russo brothers, who are producing and directing the new "Doomsday" then "Secret Wars" trilogy ("Doomsday" will be a stand-alone, followed by a two-parter "Secret Wars") rolled out a totally different teaser campaign at the end of several current movies, most notably the latest "Avatar," which I have no interest in. These teasers were focused on usually single characters such as Thor or Steve Rogers, and so far there have been 10 of them. Folks, these trailers have had one billion views worldwide so far. More important, it is interesting to listen to the audience reactions when different people appear on screen, with huge cheers for the "X-Men," especially Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, and Nightcrawler and big cheers for Dr. Strange---but dead silence for a couple of the Phase 3/Phase 4 wokesters, such as "Monica Rambeau." Nothing. I wonder of the Russo brothers are watching these reactions, because my sense is that they know they must absolutely top "Endgame." We'll see, but you can't discount one billion views of even a new toenail clipper.
25) Leave it to the evil Keith Olberdork to issue a fecal-wrap sandwich. He called the great Lou Holtz a "scumbag." Maybe Olberdork was really referring to the "Rev." Jesse Jackson.
26) After taking a beating for allowing one of their board members, Susan Rice, to cost them a lucrative deal with Warner Bros., Netflix now has dumped Megxit and the Ginger Duke, cutting ties with their "As Ever" brand.
IN MEDICAL NEWS
27) The New York legislature has advanced legislation to prevent AI chatbots from dispensing medical information or advice. Ah, I think that robot has already left the building.
28) Now some of the demonic vaxiopaths are saying "Yeah, heart damage from the China Virus vaxxes was real, but it's resolved." And I say, "Hell to the no." A new meeting coming up in about two weeks with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) which will review procedures. It will take up a new code, in which there will be new code items, including a medical code for vax injury. That's big. Once this code exists, injuries can be tracked, they exist, and there will be restitution. Or, in other words, for the first time, the "authorities" in all states will have to admit that the vaxxes were dangerous and deadly.
AND FINALLY . . .
29) What could go wrong? Researchers have engineered bacteria to "colonize" in the eye to ensure faster healing.
