HEADLINES: Expanded Iran attacks; ChiComs take note; A new Amazing Zohran scandal
The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow
IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) The U.S. and Israel crossed an invisible line by attacking Iranian oil facilities. This was a no-no previously. The NYSlimes is freaking out because, as shown below from David Blackmon, the U.S. no longer needs Middle Eastern oil . . . but everyone else does. As he points out, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz did not occur because of mines or missiles, but because of letters from seven insurance companies. Maybe the Euros will consider backstopping the insurers? Jeff Childers points out that the new attacks differ from all previous strikes in that they are deliberately targeting Iran's domestic oil production that supports their military, missiles, and mullahs. Previously there was a "gentleman's agreement" that you don't step on my blue suede shoes, or, in this case, don't mess with Iran's oil. That's gone now. To replace the missing Iranian oil, the administration has eased sanctions on Russkie oil. Oh, BTW, Chy-na imports over 13% of its total oil from Iran. Every day. That means that the ChiComs have already lost two of their main sources of oil---Venezuela and Iran---and are about to see Russkie oil redirected westward. And, as always, the panicans and pundits miss all the larger strategery that is setting Chy-na up for the energy knockout. And if you think this isn't affecting Chy-na, think again, as the ChiComs haven't flown any flights near Taiwan in more than a week. And this story: the ChiComs are in ubercensorship mode, fearing pics of Iranians in the streets might give their own consumer slaves ideas.
2) Not sure this will work: Trump says he won't sign any other bills until the SAVE Act is passed---but that would deprive DHS/Homeland Security of deportation funds. Plus, this makes Congress look like the good guys---"Hey, we TRIED passing bills . . . ." At any rate, for now, President Trump's approval, especially on issues, appears to be soaring.
3) Here is a list of all the voting law changes. Most are pretty good, though a couple (such as in CO) will invite more mischief.
4) While Shipwreckedcrew doesn't begin to cover all the victories that Pam Bondi's DOJ has had, he outlines some of the most consequential ones. Anyone whining that Bondi hasn't arrested the right people is just in a different universe. She has, with a significantly reduced manpower and with many appointees still not confirmed, simply been the most consequential AG in American history. She sliced and diced all DEI, is almost certain to win the case overturning Humphries' Executor that will give Trump extremely broad powers, and is something like 33-1 in upper court rulings and appeals. Most of those had to do with firing the swamp or with deporting illegals.
5) Dr. Mehmet Oz is officially investigating the New York Medicaid system for fraud.
6) Republican members of Congress referred Cassidy Hutchinson for charges on perjury. Hutchinson is the chick who said Trump got so upset on Patriot Day, January 6, 2021, that he tried to grab the wheel of the Secret Service limo---a story proven false every which way but loose.
7) Kollyfornia Republican Darryl Issa gave up his reelection bid after his district was redrawn to DemoKKKrats. This doesn't really count as a loss as it was already baked into the D gains there.
8) See, you CAN make these people follow the law: Kollyfornia has been forced to cancel over 13,000 drivers' licenses of illegals and other immigrants due to the feds' new mandates.
9) Who is really inciting violence? Young men? Incels? Nope. Women. The AWFULS.
10) I still believe that the DemoKKKrats really, really want the Amazing Zohran to emerge as their candidate (though a significant minority know he'd lose in a Dukakis-like landslide, and they are supporting Cackles). But here is yet another scandal: this time his wife "Liked" a post on the Hamas attacks on Israel.
IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS
11) This illegal criminal alien voted in five different presidential elections. But a certain Arizona Data Gnu says that's impossible, can't happen. What morons inhabit the RINO/DemoKKKrat wings.
12) Principal Desi Sullivan of King Chavez High School in San Diego opened a door for a fleeing illegal violent serial criminal and let him in the building with students.
IN CULTURAL NEWS
13) This homage to the Great Rush Limbaugh kind of gets it. But it's not just the structure and delivery mechanisms that changed after Rush died five years ago. Rush to this day has never been replaced on the air waves. "Clay and Buck" are not even pale imitations. They are always a few days behind the real news, that is to say, what's really happening behind the scenes. Rush was always at least on top of it, if not ahead. By reading Hoax News stories and playing Hoax News clips, Rush then would explain what the DemoKKKrats were trying to do. It was usually 180 degrees opposite of what they said or were doing at the time. But most of all, even conservatives still often fail to understand what a unique political analyst Rush was. I listened to him consistently from the 1990s on, and only heard him make to major predictive mistakes: he said Hillary Clinton wouldn't run for senate cuz she couldn't tolerate a loss (well, she didn't lose that race, but did lose the DemoKKKrat nomination in 2008) and said Biden wouldn't be the nominee in 2020. (I joined him in that error). Rush could "read the stitches" on a DemoKKKrat fastball and seldom missed. He came to Trump only a little late---by fall of 2015---but then steadily increased in his appreciation for what Trump was and what he meant. I don't care what the format is or how culture changed, if Rush was still here and healthy, he'd still have at least 20 million listeners.
14) The New York marathon will not be a marathon if, well, you can't run a marathon. No, you just run what you can and they'll pretend you finished.
IN TRANSOID NEWS
15) Jennifer Sey's powerful new pro-woman campaign called "Look at Her" makes pretty clear the suffering and injustice caused by men pretending to be women in female sports.
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
16) Energy fortress America: David Blackmon explains how the U.S. has utterly slashed any oil requirements it has from other countries, going from 3 million barrels a day in 2003 to under 500,000 a day now. Domestic crude oil production is up 145% over that same period.
17) Chrysler-Dodge's EV company Stellantis blew $26 billion on electric vehicles no one wants.
18) Shake Shack, a burger chain over which I'm just "men" about but Mrs LS loves, is starting to slide over its devious attempt to build in tips into prices---even take out.
19) President Trump says that the CEOs of the major defense contractors agreed to quadruple production of elite weaponry.
20) The shift in where Americans spend their money is pretty stark: ecommerce up 250% since 2015 and restaurants and bars up 105%.
21) Here comes AI, as Morgan Stanley, despite profits of 14%, is going to lay off 3% of its global workforce.
22) Cracker Barrel CEO pointed to a Google five-star rating while down playing a 7.9% decline in revenue, and CEO Julie Massino said that she felt like she had been "fired" by America.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
23) The Iranians were busy little beavers, attempting to rebuild their nuke sites. Ahhh, nope. U.S. and Israel re-buried these. Trump announced he does NOT want the Kurds to enter the war. This is wise. Soon, if they get in trouble, they'd beg for U.S. military support and we'd be trapped between abandoning an ally or expanding the war. Meanwhile, the newly-designated top target in Iran is the former Khameini's son. I give him a week unless he cooperates. So far, looks like the Iranians think they can still do damage, targeting Israeli oil refineries and a desalinization plant in Bahrain.
24) Green Screen Zelensky threatened Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban with military reprisals if he didn't get on board with EU Uke spending. Others, however, such as the Slovak Republic, supported Orban and criticized little Green Screen.
25) The Euros, meanwhile, are way down in their gas storage (29%) and cargo ships are diverting elsewhere because of Iran. Don't worry. Ya got windmills.
26) The U.S. has "formally and officially" recognized the new Venezuelan government under Delcy Rodriguez. Woodrow Wilson, eat your heart out. Trump accomplished the overthrow of an evil drug-peddling narco-spooge without a single U.S. death.
27 The Mediocre British Royal Navy Carrier Prince of Wales was ordered to sail for the Middle East in five days. Seems the Brits can't even put to sea one functional carrier.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
28) Singer Morrisey's sold out shows and new record deal may prove the cancel culture is dead. I like this guy a lot---great voice, but even more amusing are his quirky lyrics, such as "It's not Your Birthday Anymore" and "Someone Is Squeezing my Skull."
29) Prized NFL Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby was traded to the Baltimore Ravens for a whopping two first rounders in a deal reminiscent of the Micah Parsons trade to Green Bay (which didn't work out well after he ended his season with a knee injury & the Packers were bounced from the playoffs.) Crosby makes any team better, and the Cowboys were thought to have the inside track, but wouldn't give up two #1 picks. I think that was the right call.
IN MEDICAL NEWS
30) Another study shows that coffee intake slows mental aging.

31) This is extremely troubling. We already knew culture was trying to eliminate men, especially manly men. Now we see that there are pathologies surrounding 20-30-year-old males that were previously not seen until 30 years later, including low testosterone and hormonal decline.
AND FINALLY . . .
32) I'm all for giving kids snacks, but weed gummies is not a good idea. Three kids went to the ER after kids were given the drug-laced candy to celebrate another kid's birthday. Heck, just let them do lines of coke. Then they'd be 8th graders in a week.
