HEADLINES: Trump in China; Ds redistricting efforts continue to fail; TN state house removes all Ds from committees after their violent outburst

The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

NOTE: We have entered production of "Patriot's History: The Pilgrims." As a reminder, this is a multi-season series that tells America's story through the lives of one family from Plymouth to the present. You can help us out in any of three ways: *Be a donor, with all donations converted to investments once we form the production LLC after we finish the Torch for Angel Studios and decide what direction we will take in distribution

*Buy Larry a Coffee. This adds up. Link at bottom of the page

*On the Wild World of History Youtube channel, I have been reading from Patriot's History from the beginning, and am now up to the Great Depression. Most videos are about 30 minutes. We are very close to having Youtube monetize them---we only need 340 more watched hours, so jump over there and watch one of the videos---eve better, read along!

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) President Trump had the red carpet rolled out in Beijing.

2) The Supes just mandated the black-designated district in AL, so there is another one in the R column. Likewise, MS wanted to redistrict but was held up by a lower court. Now the Fifth Circuit vacated the order so there is one more R seat. So this had to hurt when CNN's Ugly Cornish said that "Republicans are feeling pretty good" about midterms. Damn skippy. Meanwhile, the DemoKKKrats in VA were supremely damaged by the VA situation, almost as if they bet their entire 2026 majority on those 3-4 extra seats. Now they are talking about forcing all the VA Supe Justices to resign. Even if they were to pull this off, they are out of time. You may recall in July 2024 I kept saying the DemoKKKrats were out of time to switch from Rutabaga to anyone else except Cackles. I didn't even think they had time to shoehorn her in---and they didn't. Among other things, her implosion was due to a short runway and her inability to adapt quickly. Same here. And here, Shipwreckedcrew explains how the PA Constitution and Supes helped the Ds take that state in 2018, setting a precedent. This is another reason the VA challenges won't go anywhere. Missouri's Supes just validated that state's +1R redistricting.

3) As Seth Keshel noted, there was an elevent point gap between CNN's generic poll and that of Atlas (D+16). C'mon man. Neither of these are close. We're probably at, if they are lucky, a D+1 national, or a huge loss in November.

4) The NE Secretary of State lost a primary race against a Trump-endorsed opponent. And this swing state DemoKKKrat is just the latest defection, as a Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice left the DemoKKKrat Party over Jew-hatred.

9) DNI Tulsi Gabbard is probing the Ukrainian biolabs that former toejamlicker senator Minion Romney called her a "traitor" for mentioning. We know who the traitors are, there, little Minion. She claims they have found 120 such biolabs so far.

12) Not a fan of polls, but this one shows St. Thomas of Masshole losing his primary in KY, though not getting trounced. St. Thomas was just hit with a sex scandal, but who knows if any of that is real. I detest him because he's an obstructionist gallstone.

13) Thanks to the Oleaginous Butyraceous Gruesome, Kollyfornia Death Row prisoners can now watch porn.

IN AI NEWS

14) David Blackmon, the Rush Limbaugh of energy, notes that data centers have to get their development acts together, now. GA's power company is threatening to seize homes and farmland using eminent domain that the state granted it. Bad idea. Big Data must get the people on its side, and will do so by building without displacing, and providing its own power and water.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

IN CULTURAL NEWS

17) A Muslim-only waterpark event in TX hit snags when there was major resistance, especially from Gov. Greg Abbott. Like any private group, Muslims could rent the park for a day using existing company policies. But it cannot be open to the public and closed to all infidels. INFIDELS HAVE RIGHTS TOO!

18) Just ridiculous stuff. Pastor Marc Driscoll said that if Planned Parenthood would have been around for Mary she would have thought about an abortion. For Pete's sake, pastor. Read the Bible. She immediately took God's promise to her in her heart. Luke 1:38, where Mary said:  “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”

IN TRANSOID NEWS

20) So the Vatican's new report says homosexuality is just fine. I guess we can soon expect similar reports permitting beastiality, heresy, and overall chuddergluten.

21) A woke VA school district had its third transoid case, this time with the weirdo accused of photographing 40 students in bathroom stalls.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

22) Jeffrey Tucker notes that 1/3 of men over 16 are NOT in the workforce. Fifty years ago, nearly ALL were in the work force.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

27) The DoE just removed the last enriched uranium from Venezuela. One less potential threat. But how does uranium get enriched? Liberals say tax loopholes.

29) Euro countries are running out of jet fuel. Irena Slav argues that this, combined with the new virus scare, may severely damage tourism in Europe and give the greens a win. I don't see it that way. It may very well be that just the opposite happens. People, even the spoogified Euros, may wake up.

31) Sweden has quietly started a capitalist revolution inside the Nordic hub. Let's see, though, if they can get their immigration issues under control. Still the numbers are impressive: half the health care clinics are private, as are one third of the high schools. Its gubment share of GDP has fallen.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

32) The 81-year-old guitar legend Eric Clapton (or if you were Clinton's Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders, Eric Clapner), quit a concert early after someone hit him with a hurled object. Not a good idea. Once when our singer was on the dance floor singing "Baby, baby" to some random girl, her boyfriend slugged him. Stupid. All the guys in my band were over 6' and were BIG guys. They ripped off their guitars like clubs and started to come after him, whereupon the grabbed his girlfriend like a hostage and backed out.

IN MEDICAL NEWS

33) To mixed reactions, Marty Makary is out as the FDA chief. Some claimed he was slow-walking reviews of such drugs as the abortion drug mifepristone.

AND FINALLY . . .

34) The "Knight Rider" car must be really, really fast. It was hit with a speeding ticket in Brooklyn despite sitting in an IL museum.
