HEADLINES: Rs have massive money edge for midterms; the Squad loses big; Paxton destroys Cornyn in the GOP Senate Primary in TX

The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

*Welp, this is three times in a row. On Friday I had a story that apparently was old---the problem with seeing things on reels is they aren't time stamped. Anyway, Mel Gibson's "The Resurrection of the Christ" has completed production and is in post production, meaning it could be out as early as December of this year, maybe faster if they rush it.

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Last night in TX, AG Ken Paxton beat incumbent Sen. John Cornhole in a blowout---nearly 28 points. Cornhole and his minions spent $92 million to lose. In today's substack "Sweep the Leg", I review just some of the times the RINOs (and mostly DemoKKKrats) said Paxton would lose. And Cornhole took with him the pain-in-the-colon Congressman Woodchipper Roy, who only lost by 11. In addition, the incendiary DemoKKKrat TX House member Al "I'm Still in Love with You" Green was also booted, joining other enemies and/or obstructionists Jazzy What-a-Crockett, MTG, and Masshole in much needed retirement. In his analysis of the Paxton blowout, Seth Keshel notes that the Latino vote showed up for him and is a very bad omen for Talcumpowder. He shows that the Paxton margins in Hidalgo, Harris, the Rio Grande Valley, and El Paso were very good signs for the GOP. Paxton ran ahead of his state margins in those counties. Yikes, the DemoKKKrats have to be farting armadillos. Oh, and over in IL, the "Squad"'s pals---the radical prog Mulsim cheerleaders---got weasel-stomped. Yes, AIPAC helped (fine with me: better the "Joooooos" than the Muslims) but four of their big names were badly whacked. Oh, did I mention that Trump is 41-0 in endorsements?

2) The RESTRUCTURING of both Houses, but particularly the Senate, is stunning. Yertle and Uncle Thom Tillis are stepping down, Wild Bill Cassidy lost his primary, meaning that FOUR RINO/obstructionists are out. (It remains to be seen if Michael Whatley can retain Tillis's seat: he's trailing in "polls" but Rs have a 100,000 active voter lead there, so . . . . At any rate that's a minimum of THREE RINO to MAGA flips (Paxon should win the general by 4-5) and possibly FOUR. We can't get much out of Susan "Tom" Collins's state except her, as a placeholder against the Naizified DemoKKKrat Graham Platner. That's a tossup, as is NH. Seth Keshel is bullish on Whatley, unsure about GA.

3) There are truly contested senate seats left in MI and GA, hotbeds of fraud and corruption, so those will be iffy, even though Mike Rogers led in a poll last week. In terms of money, Republicans are nearing a $1 billion mid term war chest, not even counting that of Trump's slush fund and Musk's slush fund. DemoKKKrats, meanwhile, still can raise money for specific candidates---think TalcumPowder Talarico in TX, where there is a cyclical bonfire of donor dollars in this deep red state---but nationally lacking ActBlue and USAID, they are having trouble with fraudulent levels of funding. Going back to one of the autopsies for the DemoKKKrats in 2024, it noted that while then they outspent Rs by $400m, they still lost because the GOP (wait, what??), according to Jeff Childers' summary, "got more impact from less money by maintaining a steadier, always‑on digital presence and smarter platform‑specific allocation, while Democrats followed a boom‑and‑bust pattern around key dates." Another way to put that is that the Rs found a way to appeal more to the youts than did the DemoKKKrats.

6) The New York Slimes says impeachments are too hard to get, and are "increasingly rare." Seriously? In the nation's first 200 years, only one president was impeached (Andrew Johnson) but not convicted. In the ;ast 25 years, there have been three impeachments, with zero convictions. "Increasingly rare?"

9) Former AG Pam Bondi, who was reassigned just a couple of months ago, revealed she has thyroid cancer. Of course, the Hoax Media has to say she was "fired" (nope: reassigned) but this, like the diagnosis of Tulsi Gabbard's husband, shows that often the assumed reason for changes is never correct.

10) Sorry, my little DemoKKKrat friends, building walls against the criminals and homeless won't work in Seattle. Oh, walls work, but the city is going to tear them down because, you know, you must submit yourself to DEI-induced murder, home invasions, and homeless.

11) President Trump just had his regular health checkup. Unlike Rutabaga, his was "perfect."

IN AI NEWS

14) It looks as though foreign big players are funding much of the resistance to U.S. data centers. Now, why would furriners be worried that we might end up with all the data centers? These of course are associated with Big Green Climate Change weenies. Oh, and David Blackmon shows that air conditioning, not data centers, is driving the demand for energy. And shades of "Goliath," season 3: David also shows that almond farms and golf courses are consuming way more water than data centers at present.

15) Joi AI will pay people $2,000 a month to masterbate. Heck, the DemoKKKrats should be rich. That's all they do.

16) ClickUP just replaced 3,000 employees with AI agents. So far, as X support (horrible) shows, AI cannot do the job of humans.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

20) A new DHS memo allows ICE to ramp up asylum fraud cases against . . . wait for it . . .civilly or criminally prosecuting activist lawyers. Hallelujah.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

22) States are toughening penalties for interrupting religious services. Gosh, is this going to dampen down Pentecostal camp meetings now?

23) The Washington Compost says that people aren't having kids because of scrolling.

24) First it was the Menendez brothers (remember, "Awww. They lost both their parents"---they KILLED THEM!), Then it was the Reiners' son who murdered them. Now the son of the wealthy Mango owner who is being arrested for a "mountain accident" involving his billionaire father.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

31) I saw "Mortal Kombat II," which wasn't bad at all. It kept to two of my three keys to being a good movie: it was entertaining, it was under three hours, but it missed in my last criteria, in that it was overly dark. My son saw it with me, and pointed out that with the decline of Asian martial arts movies (Jackie Chan, Chow Young Fat, Jet Li have all aged out) no one actually hits anymore, hence the directors darken everything up to conceal that fact. If you think about it, the only remaining true martial arts stars are Keanu Reeves (who also is aging out) and Jason Staham. I do look forward to "Equalizer 4," as Denzel is getting way to old to fight these battles and both Keanu and Statham are slated to be in it. At any rate, I've been a fan of "Mortal Kombat" from the first "FINISH HIM" games and saw the original movies years ago. The current iteration stars Karl Urban---one of my faves, but who didn't really get a great American accent for this---and features updated Rayden, Sonya, Kitana, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and the Head Cheese, Shao Kahn. SPOILER ALERT: Why do they have to kill Jax in ever movie?

As I say, but a little bit of lighting would have made it better. There are, however, some great "fatalities." I hope President Trump is watching.

32) Defying all common sense, a new study shows that ALL China Virus vaxxes increased your cancer risk. Gosh, who coulda seen that coming?

AND FINALLY . . .

33) FIle under, "Well, at least we didn't have to shoot them down." An Australian done show failed when 90 drones fell into the water.
