IN POLITICAL NEWS

i 1) In a big developing scandal of a story (how big remains to be seen), the Fellowship of the Autopen seems to be growing. Yesterday, it was asserted that Senator Elizabeth Warren (ComanChe) was the Custodian of the Autopen. Now, understand that claim was made by Trump's "cryptoczar" David Sacks, and only in the context of blocking crypto. Otherwise, that makes no sense at all, and doesn't pass the Frijole Fart Club Smell Test. I haven't read everything on Team Rutabaga, but everything that I have read cited three people surrounding the Demented Pervert who could/would have used said autopen: Chief of Staff (until the last few weeks) Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, and the Senior Skank. Today that has been confirmed yet again by the Atlantic, which has called them a "Protective Politburo." The Glandgobbling Gulag is probably a more apt term, but nevertheless, the Atlantic (soon to be the Salton Sea if readership continues to fall) continues to be exposed by Jake Fakey Tapper in his "for the money" tour touting his book Original Sin---all the while he pretends, gee, he didn't know.

2) Another day, another warning from John Halpin on the "Psychology of Party [ i.e., DemoKKKrat] decline." These guys at Liberal Patriot are doing everything in their power to turn around the DemoKKKrat lemmings who are leaping off Niagara Falls. What he still fails to grasp is history: the Federalists died because they never did "run" (no campaigns then) on issues, but rather qualifications. The Liberty/Know-Nothings never survived because they were single issue parties. But the DemoKKKrats' real model right now is the Whigs . . . but worse. The Whigs ignored the biggest issue of the day, slavery. The DemoKKKrats are not only not ignoring the four biggest issues of the day, but are on the wrong side of all of them: illegal immigration, woke/transoidism, anti-semitism/pro-Hamas Murder Pirates, and AI energy needs. I give them a decade, at best. Meanwhile, yet another argument is that "oh, noo, it's only because DemoKKKrats are "talking like professors." Just change the words. Everything is fine."

3) A polling stunner from Rasmussen: "For the first time in our history a majority of Americans say we are on the right track." Patrick Basham's Democracy Institute finds the same thing, with President Trump at 52%.

4) Indiana has started work to annex some Illinois counties. Seth Keshel looks at the political impact if, indeed, Indiana can pull it off. It would move about 8 EVs to the GOP.

5) Majorie Taylor Greene says she was told the first of many DOGE cut votes is coming Monday.

6) Good. Remember when three aides to SecDef Pete Hegseth (of the non-interventionist variety) were fired last month? Now the Trump administration is reviewing those and concluded it doesn't believe the (pro-interventionist) Pentagon sources.

7) BLM booted an official who resisted DOGE cuts.

8) A good piece on Michael Anton, the MAGA Machiavelli who has a terrific grasp on international policy in the Trump era and who is increasingly directing policy. Anton wrote the highly influential "Flight 93 Election" that swayed Rush Limbaugh to become a Trump supporter.

9) I love it. President Trump's team is teeing up a whole new libel/slander suit against CBS for calling him a "mob boss."

10) Just great. Now we have an altercation between two Secret Service women agents when one was late showing up. Imagine that. A woman being late.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

12) Trump officials are accelerating toward arresting 3,000 illegal criminals per day, up from 300 a month ago. Probably need to hit at least 10,000 a day to have a serious impact.

13) Due to Trump's incredible success in shutting down the illegal invaders, San Diego is shutting down an entire processing center. It's empty.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

14) Christopher Rufo makes a good case of why Santa Ono should not be president of the University of Florida.

15) This is one for the (text) books, as a star Harvard business prof was stripped of tenure and fired for falsifying data. . . on her studies on dishonesty.

IN TRANSOID NEWS

16) President Trump threatens to cut Kollyfornia's federal funds if the state continues to allow men to compete in girls' events.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

18) Contrary to claims from the Hoax News media, durable goods orders rose.

19) AI now a rival of Apple with a new acquisition by OpenAI of Jony Ive.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

20) Blacks in South Africa sing "Shoot to kill! Kill the Boer," but, you know, they don't really mean it says the media.

21) Tesla's Europe sales are crashing. I do not think this was mostly the result of political terrorism against Elon Musk or dissatisfaction with his positions. I think the reality of "green" is catching up---people realize the severe limitations and high cost of EVs. Take a look at the ChiCom EV maker trying to replace Tesla. It's shares are collapsing. And solar is going with it, as a ChiCom "solar billionaire" steps back. As David Blackmon, the Rush Limbaugh of Energy, points out, "renewables" internationally are failing, looking to shrink projects, "reduce risks or cut costs," which is Greenspeak for "HEP! HEP! WE GOIN' UNDER!"

22) Meanwhile, as Ronald Stein reports, the amount of money wasted on "net-zero" is staggering.

23) Argentina will exit the WHO. The bad WHO.

24) Muy Macho Marco announced that the U.S. will begin denying VISAs of foreign officials involved in censoring U.S. free speech. (I'm guessing that of Elon Musk, among others)

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

25) Here is a great article by Michael Golden on CGI's future in Hollywood/movies. He argues that it is limited, that it can never capture the nuances of real people. I agree, based on my experience of listening to rock music. I can always tell if it's a live drummer or a machine. I don't care how clever the programmers are, live players have tiny tells---a half-second lag here, an unexpected and totally unpredictable bass line there, a weirdly placed (yet appropriate) cymbal crash. Watch videos of Todd Sucherman, who drums for STYX as he hits every accent.

26) Another Disney disaster as the woke-ized "Dr. Who" ratings collapse: a "$100 million Mouse House nightmare."

27) "Lilo and Stitch" and "Mission Impossible" dominate the box office. MI likely to hit $1 billion soon.

IN CHINA VIRUS NEWS

28) RFK, Jr. has "declared war" on the journal cartel and ordered NIH and CDC to cease publishing in JAMA and other lying publications. The editor of the New England Journal of Medicine admitted "It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines." Richard Horton, editor of the Lancet, agreed: "much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue." Not only will gubment researchers stop publishing in these hall-of-mirror chowderhouses, but NIH will allocate 20% of its total funding (!!!) to replicating studies. Folks, this is an off-the-charts sea change.

AND FINALLY . . .

30) This bizarre story has been making the rounds. It seems a Florida man, who was already suspected of being high on something, swam in a gator-infested pond and was bitten on the arm. Police, having already been hailed, arrived as he ran from them and "growled." Then he picked up garden shears and threatened them, driving them out of their police cruiser. They shot him with a stun gun. Nothing. (Course, he didn't seem to mind that he'd been bitten by an alligator, either). Finally they had to shoot him with bullets when he began unhooking the rifle in the cop car.
