TODAY'S NEWS, NOVEMBER 24-25, 2024

The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) The "mandate/no mandate" horsepoop is even admitted by NPR: most of the country shifted right, and blacks, the youts, and Latinos moved toward Trump.

2) Polling sucked again, and surprise, surprise! The errors were all in the same direction, favoring Rutabaga and Cackles

3) President Trump is hitting the ground running in his effort to dismantle the administrative Deep State. And a majority of Americans like his picks. Many MAGA did not like his AG pick, Pam Biondi, the former AG of FL after Matt Gaetz dropped out. Will she be an administrator who sends her attack dogs on targets Trump selects In her statement she said she would investigate the investigators and prosecute the prosecutors. Sounds good to me.

4) Pigs are flying. The New York Slimes says the "people have spoken" and all cases against Trump should end.

5) Pretty funny. Cackles is still rais9ing money for a recont that is over. The campaign spend $1.5 billion (the price tag keeps rising), or $100 million a week to lose massively. They paid bribes to interviewers, no doubt to keep from going crazy trying to figure out what she said. And this is even funnier: the leperous Liz "Clusterbomb" Cheney damaged Cackles in several swing states.

6) A Texas serial killer has been convicted after he mutilated victims' bodies and ate their hearts in a ritualistic practice. Nah, there's no such thing as the devil. Or, maybe there is, as 23 men were arrested for being sexual predators in a North Carolina sting.

7) Now the Florida Surgeon General joins those who call for the removal of fluoride in drinking water.

8) This is really good news for the country, as DemoKKKrats STILL haven't figured out what is happening. The latest, an interview of the somewhat reasonable Michael Lind, shows that they think a) the Obama Coalition has ended (correct), that i became a "giant political machine" based on NGOs, institutions, elites and media (also correct), that it scaled down to state and local level (wow, correct a third time), and that all they have to do is have these "machines" stop listening to the elites and funders. (BIG NO). They can't. The elites and fonders ARE the DemoKKKrat machine. So far, the ONLY urban escapee from the plantation is Eric the Red Adams over the illegal criminal invasion, and that is purely to save his own skin from the Rutabaga prosecutions. I do not think he believes it.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

10) DemoKKKrats are now using the "We can't pick our own cotton" slavery defense to try to hang on to illegal criminal immigration.

11) The Mayor of New Kabul (NYC), Eric the Red Adams has started closing migrant hotels already. ("The Trump Effect")

IN CULTURAL NEWS

13) The great Ryan Burge shows that young women are more likely to be atheists than men, but that of those who believe, younger women are more likely to be evangelicals while younger men trend Catholic. Non-religious women are more likely to be DemoKKKrats than non-religious men.

14) Welcome to higher tuition. The U of Texas announced free tuition to any students whose family earns less than $100,000. That means tuition will go up dramatically for all other, and "fees" will explode.

IN TRANSOID NEWS

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

16) Rutabaga isn't finished trying to kill the housing market, as mortgage rates are back up to 7% after a short dip.

17) The federal debt is up 236% under Rutababa/Zero, while federal spending is up 121% and unfunded liabilities now at a staggering $221 trillion.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

19) Meanwhile the clowns at the UN are pushing "gender-responsive climate action." and, at the climate change boondoggle, COP29, energy lobbyists were the largest delegation.

20) A Dutch court sided with Shell Oil in a suit from Friends of the Earth.

21) A centrist/populist described by Hoax News Media as a "far-right populist" surprised Romanian politics to reach a run-off.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

22) How generous. Bill Maher said he won't "pre-hate" Trump and admits Trump's solution to the Uke war is the way to go.

23) Producers of "The View" are clearly concerned, as the haglets had to issue four separate "legal notes" in a single episode about Trump cabinet picks. "This show is going to be legal notes and things we are selling" said Fat Ana Navarro. Well, chubster, STOP LYING.

24) "Wicked" broke records for a Broadway show-turned-movie, opening at $114 million U.S. and $164 million worldwide.

25) "Blues Image" frontman and guitarist Mike Pinera dead at age 76. Back when I was writing You Keep Me Hangin' On, the biography of "Vanilla Fudge's" Mark Stein, he gave me Mike's contact and I got to interview him for the book.

IN CHINA VIRUS NEWS

AND FINALLY . . .

27) You might recall a couple of seasons ago on "Yellowstone" John Dutton (Kevin Costner) brutally explained the realities of being a "vegan" because you don't "kill animals" to the hippie chick played by Piper Perabo, noting that turning up the earth and fertilizing plants killed an incredible number of small species, from insects to frogs to snakes. "How cute does an animal have to be before you won't eat it?" he asked. Well, now in Taylor Sheridan's new series about oil, "Landman," a similar scenario occurred when oilman Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) explains how useless wind and solar are to the woke corporate lawyer Rebecca Falcone, played by Kayla Wallace. This is absolutely worth the view.
