The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

We had some very serious technical issues---not our fault, because lots of bloggers and podcasters had the same problems---on election night. Regardless, I'm proud of our in-studio crew and of our team on camera, including Seth Keshel and Billy Horvash. And, above all, we nailed it precisely with 312 EVs, popular vote win, and at least +3 in the Senate.

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Where to start? I mean, the obvious is President Donald Trump became only the second President in American history to win an election, lose an election, then come back to win. He did it in overpowering style, with 312 Electoral Votes (which someone, ahem, has predicted here since JUNE), a popular vote win (ditto, but much bigger than even I thought possible, by about 2-3 points), and flipping a bazillion counties from blue to red, particularly in TX and PA. With very few exceptions, the entire country moved hard right by about 2-3 points. New Jersey ended up being close. Oh, and remember all those doomers who insisted they "wouldn't let Trump take office?" Yeah. Good times. Cackles already conceded, and her followers mourn ("There's nothing left." Well, yeah: God, marriage, common sense, but for you guys . . . .), Rutabaga made a semi-concession speech. By the way, look at the last FOUR presidential elections. Anything stand out? Like how the DemoKKKrat share of the vote has not changed at all? But that the GOP share has steadily risen . . . with one exception: the DemoKKKrat share mysteriously leaped in 2020.

2) Rutabaga promised a peaceful transition. Now, the real violent transition will be the one in the DemoKKKrat Party. It's gonna be a doozie. But naturally, the blame game has begun on the left with Biden one of the targets for not dropping out earlier.. "Biden should have stepped aside earlier and let the party put together a longer game plan.” Er, Politico, Rutabaga didn't "step aside" anyway. You pushed him out. Note that the powers-that-be are trying to cover for Cackles, saying she ran a good campaign. It truly is an astounding argument that he "hung on too long" and that Cackles ran an "extraordinary" campaign." If they really believed Rutabaga hung on too long, DemoKKKrats should have had an open primary. And if Cackles was so good, how did she lose by 4% after spending a billion dollars? Undaunted, "Morning Joe" blamed blacks for being sexist, while at the same time blaming Hispanics for being racist. Can't make these toodle-pinchers' retarded chode-brained explanations up.

3) The DoINJustice is apparently throwing in the towel on criminal charges against President Trump. Word is Count Dooku (Jack Smith) has already been given his walking papers. He should be prosecuted & sent to Devil's Island.) And Judge Juan Merchan in the "Hush Money" trial---the only one so far that has yielded a conviction, is considering dismissing the case. Liberal spoogebilled cluckduckers' heads exploding across America.

4) So far, it appears that the DemoKKKrats stole the WI and MI senate seats, but not the PA seat and that David McCormick will be the new senator, defeating Bob Casey. The power of voter registration. This gives the GOP a four seat majority with Vance as the tie-breaker and we are still waiting on the AZ race with Kari Lake to be called. In PA, Marc Elias is still trying his fraud in the PA senate race, but the seat has more or less been called. Oh, you know what ese has been "called?" The Supreme Court. For decades, says the New Republic.

5) In New Calcutta (LA), George (No One Spits Like) Gascon was routed in the DA's race. Good. This evil chowdermonkey has no place in law enforcement unless it's answering "Yes, your honor" to "Do you understand the charges against you."

6) President Trump has named his campaign chairwoman, Susy Wiles, as his Chief of Staff. Very appropriate choice. She is an organizer, was one of the main reasons for his victory, and shuns the limelinght unlike John Kelly. And Bobby Kennedy says after Trump's victory "entire departments have to go." Amen Brother Kennedy.

7) So many takeaways. For one, there was a "marriage gap," not a gender gap, as married women flocked to Trump. Another huge takeaway was---as I have said for a year, TEXAS IS NOT A SWING STATE. The Lone Star state was a bloodbath for DemoKKKrats. Virtually the whole state swung right---Dallas by 10 points---and the Rio Grande Valley swung from 15-21 points to Republicans. More than ONE-THIRD of black men in TX voted Trump. Oh, psst: Florida is not a swing state, either. Ruy Teixeira comes right out and says that the DemoKKKrat coalition has fractured. It is so bad that Trump was closer to winning New York than Cackles was to winning Florida. Matthew Yglesias shows that Trump gained ground in urban counties. Trump moved 48 states to the right.

8) Even libs such as Noah Smith understand that the ruling class is out of control. Fortunately for us, most of them (such as Matthew Yglesias) still see Trump as an "autocrat" and still haven't understood the election or who Americans are. To quote the evil emperor, "goooooooooood."

11) As crazy as he gets sometimes, Van Jones often understands things at a James Carville-level view: The Rs built a whole new media system he said. "It turned out we were the idiots." Well, yeah, and for the 2nd election out of the last three. In 2016, Trump's Facebook and Twitter campaigns made a complete end run around the Hoax News media. This time, podcasts and streaming. Yep.

12) Libs are again pushing the Wise Latina Sotomayor to resign from the USSC now so that Rutabaga can appoint a younger, healthier replacement.

13) Exit polls show that the abortion wave never materialized for Cackles (although the all-the-time/anytime abortion issue in AZ passed 60/40) and young men moved to Trump.

15) Highly religious people are less fearful than the rest of the public.

17) Lib Noah Smith correctly notes that inflation is a bigger problem than unemployment, but misses the reason why. It's true that inflation makes everyone feel poorer, but people can---and do---address job loss by driving Ubers, working part time, and most importantly working off the books. But they can do nothing to address inflation. And contrary to all the idiotic talking head, Americans are WORSE off then they were under Trump, and they said so at the polls.

31) My next book is America in the 21st Century. I had a serious block when it came to writing the Obama chapter, entitled "Destroyer." Thank God for the research of David Limbaugh. Dave is a friend, and yes, I really miss Rush.
