The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow
I was on the David Blackmon "Energy Impact" podcast yesterday.
IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) If DemoKKKrats are winning, why is Elissa Slotkin laying out a plan for when they lose?
2) I don't do polls but this one is too funny. Fox Austin, now out of the blue, has Ken Paxton in the lead---after every poll on the planet said he would lose. What happened? Er, voting. Now it appears Talcumpowder was involved in a sex fetish ring that, of course, the left said was a lie until the IP adderss he used was shown to be the same as his sister's Neopets account. Whether this holds up or not, coming as it does it's probably the final nail in this cheddarfungus's campaign.
3) In the ongoing saga of the DemoKKKrat attempt to steal the AK Senate seat by running a "Dan Sullivan" against R Dan Sullivan to fracture the vote, the AK Governor has ordered an investigation. As always, Jeff Childers has a great take on this, including the New York Slimes article that says "most" of the subpoenas were for DemoKKKrats (duh), and that the Slimes was gleeful when a ME state politician tried to do the same thing a few years ago and was convicted and sentenced.
4) Remember a few months back when I said that the investigations into the Skinny Minny fraud in New Mogadishu (Minneapolis) were just the tip of the spear, that it was massive but that it was going to spread? Here is Kelly Loeffler, head of the Small Business Administration, announcing that the fraud is over $1 billion and they are expanding their investigation. Get it? SBA?? Not DOJ, not HHS, not DoED, all of whom also have big investigations going on. My guess is that these will be used as a blueprint for Kollyfornia next. BTW, it's likely that Loeffler as SBA administrator is far better than she would have been as a senator from GA. Oh, and the central figure in the MN fraud scheme just got 30 years. Personally, I'd be just as happy if he served those years in Somalia.
5) The DOJ is pressuring Kollyfornia about fraud in its voter rolls. This is all about the massive hammer about to hit them before 2028.
6) Speaking of MN, the state has charged James O'Keefe and Cam Higby with felonies over exposing the vouchher voting scheme there. I smell a Trump pardon coming.
7) The head of Kollyfornia's high-speed rail, which has yet to lay a mile of track, resigned amidst an expense scandal, accused of stealing $600,000. Ok, glad you got that guy, but now what about the other $171 BILLION in fraudulent expenses for a train that will never chug?
8) The Slimes has to admit that there is "some evidence" against Illicit Mullah Omar when before it said "no evidence."
10) A new FOIA dump sheds light on the covered windows in Detroit in 2020, honing in on military ballots. There were only 746 ballots cast as "military" but the observers reported "boxes" marked "military" until the window coverings went up.
11) As Jeff Childers shows today, DOGE was an unmitigated SUCCESS, slashing over 121,000 jobs.
IN AI NEWS
12) In my last news, I had the story of SONY's attempt to end physical games. Today, we have a story of one of the other big gaming companies, CAPCOM ("Street Fighter") which was hacked with 11 million accounts breached.
13) OPENAI slashed its latest funding targets by $10 billion. "It's just a flesh wound."
IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS
14) Voluntary departures of illegals under President Trump's 27 months exceed that of all six years of Zero.
15) Another big win for the administration as it does not have to have a "diversity lottery" for visas.
16) Trump's DOJ unleashed 336 immigration charges in AZ in a single week.
IN CULTURAL NEWS
17) Churches are having a problem moving with their flock, who are heading for the suburbs. Ryan Burge looks at the problems of the Catholic Church in Detroit, for example.
IN TRANSOID NEWS
18) Jennifer Sey: the deep blue state facade of transoids in women's sports is beginning to crack due to citizens' initiatives on the ballot.
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
20) Shell has doubled its earnings from last year in a return to oil-based reality.
21) President Trump held a meeting of the National Energy Dominance Council over strategizing passage of a bipartisan permitting bill. Not a likely development if any of them thought the Ds would win next week.
22) DoorDash will buy Instacart for $17 billion.
23) Wendy's has been struggling and faces a new wave of restaurant closures.
24) Bitcoin company Binance suspended withdrawals after hackers took $6.3 billion. First, I thought that was the whole point of a "block chain," that it was impossible to hack; and second, what does any nerd hacker, even an ordinary American, do with $6.3 billion?
25) There is a major oil boom going on, and it's running through the refineries, argues the Rush Limbauh of energy, David Blackmon.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
27) The EU's head energy diddlepickle won't use the word "mistake" says Irena Slav, but admitted the Euros, sigh, are going to have to build more refineries, which means dumping the imbecilic carbon credits scheme.
28) The United States has approved the sale of 500 more Patriot missiles to Ukraine. You know, the ones that liberals told us wouldn't work against other missiles.
29) The Euro-deep staters in Poland, led by the Prime Minister Donald Tusk while President Nawrocki was literally in the air to a foreign location, took a heroic turn as Nawrocki returned to Warsaw and marched into their court, the Constitutional Tribunal. Outside, they burned the EU flag. About damn time. Bravo, Polacy!
30) Cynical Publius on X has a great list of all the rioting detritus around the world. Did they prematurely Eurojaculate out of fear of elections in France, Germany, Israel, and the US not going their way? Or were the riots to prevent those elections from not going their way? Hard to tell. Certainly they are coordinated.
31) Germany hits its highest number of suicides in nearly 30 years.
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
32) Patrick Stewart, famous for "Star Trek: Next Generation" and "X-Man," dead at age 86. I think it's safe to say they will kill Professor X once and for all in the new "Avengers: Secret Wars" movie now.
OPINION: The cotton-pickin' Dallas Cowboys: every time a fan really wants to hate them, they go out and put on an absolute CLINIC in run blocking vs. the E-girls. Watching the tape, I haven't seen a team's DL manhandled like that since the Aikman/Smith/Irvin team crushed the 49ers in their second championship game meeting. Like playing with children.
AND FINALLY . . .
33) All right all youi doomers. We had the best spud harvest in years, squelching all the "We're running out of food" types.
