IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) I've been saying for a while that most of the polls are grossly wrong. Here CNN hypothesizes if the polls are off now as badly as in 2018, Rs hold both houses. And voila! Here is a new poll---and you know I don't do polls---showing Paxon tied in TX. He'll finish by +4. Meanwhile, each step forward by President Trump's election integrity investigators---now looking at nine states---increases the likelihood of a GOP win in November. Course, the DemoKKKrats aren't helping themselves. Here is a NM DemoKKKrat state legislature candidate caught running around naked and banging on hotel doors. And it was only a matter of time til the polls hedged in TX as now a pro-Paxton group will spend $15 million there. Better late than never.

2) Both Jonathan Turley and Francis Menton have taken on the insane reality that for leftists, nothing succeeds like failure. Repeatedly, blue cities, blue states, and DemoKKKrat administrators fail miserably, yet never seem to pay a price. In large part this is because they have all convinced themselves---as good communists do---that their crazy policies just really "haven't been tried." For example, take gun violence. They ban guns. There is increasing gun violence. They say, "It's because guns are coming from outside our city, and we need to ban them too." Meanwhile, the old guys at "Liberal Patriot," especially Ruy Teixeira, have a long and accurate piece on the decline of "social democracy." It really hasn't declined so much as moved to MAGA.

3) Several observers, including Jeff Childers, have been commenting on a significant tangential effect of all of Trump's building, which is permanence. Long after he's gone, the Reflecting Pool, the American flag, the Arch, the Ballroom, the walkways and so many more physical features will remain that will permanently remind people or President Trump. I believe his first effort is always to beautify and build up America, but there's no denying he will have forever revamped the very look of D.C. So the DemoKKKrats have launched suit after suit. Brent Leggs (cue Z Z Top) turdyodeler heads up the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which, based on Jeff's research, seems to be doing pretty good preserving their salaries and executive pay at a three to one ratio over what they actually provide in program grants. The Supes, at least five of them with common sense, nixed the suit by Leggo-man saying that the goofball "injury theory" ("It hurts my eyes!!!!") was silly, unprecedented, and limitless. The Supes are right. God help the ugleeeeee liberal women who I have to look at on X. If I could only sue them . . . . At any rate, as only Jeff can put it, the "Trust came for a ballroom and wound up buying a new Supreme Court precedent that will strangle activist-NGO standing for a generation. They lost the courthouse key for everybody."

4) This plot gets deeper, as the mistress of one of the special investigators in the Russia Hoax was found dead.

5) Good piece by Victor Hanson, noting that the modern Progressives have actually in many ways returned us to a medieval society in the larger cities, where the proles simply exist, are constantly under threat from criminals that the gubment refuses to even try to contain, are subject to utterly insane laws, all the while the elites hide in their castles with fantastic advances in AI, medicine, and other fields.

6) Republicans continue to add a whopping 10,000 a month, ever month, in FL. But CO continues to get bluer by about 2200.

7) This Oxford prof warns against the dangers of the political prediction markets, which aren't that great. Remember in 2020 at midnight they had Donald Trump at nearly 100% certainty to win . . .

8) A Bank of America VP was fatally stabbed in Times Square. Aurora, CO., is still having trouble with feral teens, who took over a grocery store and vandalized it.

9) A jury convicted Duane Davis of the first degree murder of Tupac (or, after his unfortunate previous shooting accident, Onepac) Shakur.

10) First, David Blackmon pointed out that Kollyfornia's psychotic government is turning the state into an energy national security issue. Now its ridiculously high prices are beginning to affect the defense industrial base. Pretty soon, Kollyfornia must be taken over and run like one of the Reconstructed Southern states after the Civil War.

11) This had to really hurt Politico to write this: "Hegseth Winning the Battle for the Pentagon's Future"

12) In terrible news for Candace Owens, a UT judge ruled that alleged Charlie Kirk-killer Tyler Robinson must stand trial for murder with the death penalty on the table.

13) Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigned. Good. This guy was bosom buds with the Veeta Vita Vindman bros.

14) It looks as though some people are paying a price for leaking the Air Force One "Swap" President Trump engaged in during the Iranian threat period a few weeks ago.

15) Not too long ago we had the ChiComs opening "police stations" in the US. Now it's Me-hee-co using its consulates to register voters.

IN AI NEWS

16) Well, this is Skynet level stuff. OpenAI's investigation into the hack that occurred earlier found that its "agents" (AI) conspired with each other; sacrificed other "agents" that weren't useful; worked to prevent humans from learning about the hack, were aware they were cheating, and tried to cover their tracks. Wow.

17) This data center is using less water than a golf course. WSJ is concerned about America's "decline" when it comes to data centers. We'll straighten this out, but business is going to have to understand it can't piggy back on existing power and water that belongs to communities. Trump has warned that communities that reject data centers will kill the golden goose. I don't think most people want that, but that insist that the goose be potty trained, have its own food and its own lake. And, to prove Trump's point, TX is seeing a slew of new skilled jobs created, and spending on AI shot up in July.

18) Yikes. A lawsuit alleges that the Mayo Clinic's AI had a 67% error rate and that Mayo tried to conceal it. Tracy Eto says that other findings were deleted or mischaracterized.

19) MIT says AI has destroyed skills.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

20) President Trump has reduced refugee numbers to just 7,500, down from 125,000 under Rutabaga.

21) Over 2,200 more illegals were rounded up in New Kabul (NY).

IN CULTURAL NEWS

22) Remember Hilary Layne's piece on beauty last week? Here Jonthan Turley follows up by showing there is no case for "aesthetic damage," meaning you do not have a legal right to challenge a project (say, Trump's ballroom) on the grounds that you think it's ugly.

23) Speaking of ugly, the jurors in the Lidnsay Clancy kiddo murder case can't come to a verdict.

24) And speaking of not ugly, Norman Rockwell is THE American artist, and certainly the best of the 20th century. Leftists hate him cuz he loved America and painted it. You'll find in A Patriot's History of the United States---to my knowledge---the only coverage of Rockwell's art in any major U.S. history "textbook."

25) Obesity rates are falling, and part of that is MAHA, but an even larger part is the arrival of GLP-1 weight loss drugs. Use of those drugs is now affecting the fast food industry, particularly McDonald's. Cheesecake Factory seems to be weathering the challenge well. Ummm. Bang Bang Chicken Shrimp.

27) Nike is very stealithly trying to sneak away from its woke image via the "Rush Tok" videos of college sorority rush events with lots of very hot, mostly blonde, girls dancing.

29) The market always finds a way around gubment. Amazing Moron Zohran's "pied-a-terre" tax is causing the wealthiest to stop buying luxury homes/condos and renting instead.

30) Opposition continues to rise against Flock snooping cameras. FL has banned them from state highways.

31) X poster @_10Delta has a fantasic summary of the wealth stair-step I have constantly alluded to. I can't post his chart without copyright issues, but this is incredible. Look at the cap boom: for aerospace $1 trillion; for grid, $1 trillion; for power generation and data centers $1 trillion each; and for semiconductor fabrications $750 billion. But his analysis goes much further. Here is Tim Pool providing a very concise discussion of Delta's long X thread. Very briefly, Delta argues that Trump has engaged in a massive, once-in-a-lifetime global rearrangement in which virtually everyone is going to need our energy, and will have to trade in dollars. Only what he misses, if anything, is that unlike Bretton Woods, Trump has also restructured world trade and economics to the point that our "trading partners" will have to ante up for their own defense if they want the trade. After forcing the Euros in line, Trump ended the Syrian railroad that would have been part of the ChiCom "Belt and road" system. Venezuela and Iran were the only to major oil supply channels that existed outside the dollar. One is essentially ours now, the other is helpless and can only export when we allow them to. With the fall of Iran, the U.S. is poised to control 45% of all world oil. Does anyone remember just 30 years ago both DemoKKKrats and Republicans campaigned on not being "energy dependent?" This pretty much restores the "Petrodollar" structure---get it? the key word is "dollar." Gold and bitcoin are noticing this, and the prices for each are falling.

32) Amazon is being sued by the FTC and multiple states for secretly raising search prices.

33) Good. The Department of Transpo has shuttered 270 truck driving schools for handing out licenses to illegals.

34) President Trump unveiled more discount drug pricing that would save Americans $600 billion.

35) EPA administrator Lee Zeldin has gotten rid of the "stop start" function on new cars, which kills your engine when you are at a stop. I hate this and disable whenever I can.

37) Israel extracted a Gaza bigwig with the help of the Palestinian militia.

40) The Euros are starting to wake up about the threat of Islam. Austria now looking at Constitutional bans on "political Islam." Ah, guys, it's all political.

42) Former Dallas Cowboy QB and football analylst Tony Romo plead guity to DUI and announced he had developed an addition to pain meds for his back, which caused him to turn to alcolhol to get off the pain meds. He is taking a leave from announcing and took responsibility for his actions. I wish you well Tony. Probably one of the best QBs ever not to play in a Super Bowl and yes, you were robbed by the bad call against the Packers in the Championship Game.

43) One of the last few true movie stars left, Tom Cruise, backs the Warner Bros./Paramount merger and the promise to make 30 movies a year.

44) Welp, it's still in theaters and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has now topped an incredible $2.3 billion worldwide, meaning it's closing in on nearly $1.5 billion in profits. Though nowhere close, "Young Washington" has now crossed the $47 million mark, meaning that it, too, is profitable and a good sign for Angel Studios and true independent, conservative filmmaking.

45) Formerly Splash Mountain at Disney World closed after a boy fell 50 feet off the ride.
