1) As if Trump needed one more reason to hate the Hoax News media, the latest fabricated story on him wanting a major league baseball team in the Teton National Park is just the latest lie.
3) Contrary to some reports, even CNN admits Trump's support within the GOP has never been higher. Among those who claim to be MAGA? 98% approve. Meanwhile, how is that DemoKKKrat Terror Party doing with men? Oh, not so well. 76% of men have an unfavorable view of the DemoKKKrat Terror Party. Oh, and you know I don't do polls but, if you do, here is a generic Harvard/Harris poll that now has the two parties tied with registered voters, Rs down only one with likely voters. Not sure I'd believe even that, but if even remotely true, the DemoKKKrats are so screwed. This poll in IA has the R leading by 2 in a very GOP state, so IA is off the table for the DemoKKKrats in the senate. And just another poll showing R Michelle Tafoya within one point in the MN senate race. Seth Keshel did his analysis of TX and Paxton wins. Well, "DemoKKKrats are more motivated to vote." Ah, hold it there cheeseweasel: the parties are tied. Need more evidence that this isn't going as DemoKKKrats expected? In PA, the Rs mail-in request rate is 51% higher than in 2022, Ds only up 7%.

5) Trump introduced a new America.gov website that helps people navigate all the various government programs and services. I'll rely on Jeff Childers here who notes that the roll-out that included multiple cabinet secretaries and tech heads was totally leak-free. Second of all, the Hoax News media didn't cover it at all, except for CNBC, where Andrew Sorkin gushed about the site and gave Trump credit. For the first time, government actually makes things easier. You can now in one stop apply for a passport, check your social security, or do thousands of other things, all assisted in your walk through. At any rate, we're talking about 29,000 websites all now streamlined into one. And guess who's next? The states. They will be forced to streamline as well. Oh, and those passports that da po can't get? Not anymore: right there on America.gov

35) In memoriam to my friend Steve Paroni, an excellent bass player, who passed away last night. For most of our careers---such as they were---we played in rival bands, his called "Smokey." And they were good. I recall one night we went to see them and they had the whole dance floor packed with the Doobie Bros. "Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While."). Later, we briefly played together after my "Rampage" broke up. An avid reader, he got into bicycling in his final years, as well as recording his own music in his studio. The end came quickly. We were planning a Mexican lunch for Thurs. R.I.P. Steve. I don't have a picture of us in the "band days."
