IN POLITICAL NEWS
1) PACs under the control of Elon Musk and President Trump have started spending big in the midterms, beginning with TX and ME.
2) Seth Keshel's latest voter registration update has good news, bad news, but a lot of solid analysis of what is what. Since November 2024 FL has gained over 400,000 net R voters, IA has gained 9,000 net (for a 10% lead), PA saw Ds lose 74,000 net---and Seth, specifically looking at the key Trump "flip" counties, sees zero R backsliding there---NC has a slight 10,000 R net lead but a larger 112,000 active voter lead for Rs, New Hampshire (R+5.9) saw a gain of about 14,000 net for Rs, and AZ, now at a lead of 313,000 Rs, had a gain of about 18,000. while in NV the Ds, who had about a 9,000 lead in 2024, are now almost dead even. (It didn't hurt that the state conducted a voter roll purge that removed 400,000 "voters"). Two main points stand out. First, even after some R losses in early 2026, they still are far better off than they were in 2024; and second, it's apparent that in 2026 after it became obvious the Rs were cleaning their clocks in voter registration, Ds launched major recruitment drives that paid off. Here Seth takes a deeper dive into PA and NC and finds a rather desperate effort to re-activate D registered voters in PA, rather than recruit new voters.
3) Returning to NH for a moment, for months I've said that Chris Sununu could flip NH this cycle and no one said a word. They didn't even poll this race. Suddently, the New York Slimes has NH DemoKKKrats saying they are losing. You know I don't do polls, but Faux now has Vivek Ramaswami up in the OH governor's race. I told you this won't be close---proabaly Vivek by more than 4.
4) DemoKKKrats are planning investigations of Trump and his family if they win the mid-terms. We can never allow these hideious intestinal wads to ever hold power again. Anywhere.
5) Fresno, Kollyfornia, is suffering from a major hate crime hoax against a coach that is costing one of the biggest school districts a ton of money already---and it's nowhere near over. That's what happens when some school board trustee accuses a coach of being a racist with no evidence, and no one bothers to check out her dubious claims.
7) Arizona prosecutors charged 265 people in a single week, including more than a dozen as smugglers.
8) The Trump Three-Step strikes again. "The Punisher," SecWar Pete Hegseth, fired journalists from Stars & Stripes. Step one. Some idiot court blocks the firing. Step two. A higher court overrules the DemoKKKrat Terrorists in robes. Step three. TAW (Trump Always Wins)
10) Victor Hanson calls the movement to the Medieval "progressive regression."
11) This is one of the first things President Trump and J.D. Vance have done with which I disagree, setting up "family accounts" for women to stay home. It's laudable, but we don't need more gubment handouts for anything.
12) A so-called mother in MO traded a child for a monkey. She will face no jail time. How about chimp cage time?
IN CULTURAL NEWS
13) One lone male holdout prevented a "not guilty" verdict in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Here is a great AI-generated Norman Rockwell-type depiction of the Clancy jury. Clancy, after the murder, attempted suicide by jumping out a second story window but only managed to paralyze herself from the waist down.

14) President Trump warned that the Kennedy Center was dilapidated when he began refurbishing it, and lib toadstools claimed he didn't have the authority to do so. Now, the roof has partially collapsed.
15) Libraries are changing, becoming virtual borrow-boxes for everything from tools to telescopes. Anything but reading. God, we cannot have people reading books.
IN TRANSOID NEWS
16) Mt. Sinai Hospital will end pedo mutilations and will put $2 million into "detransition care."
IN ECONOMIC NEWS
17) Gee, where have you loyal readers heard this before? This Trump advisor says that Uncle Sam should just sell assets, including land, to pay off the debt.
18) This paper finds no evidence that data centers raise utility rates.
19) Go woke, go broke, as Nike has seen its stock price hit a 12-year-low and has been removed from the S&P listing.
20) The Wall Street Urinal says food stamp reform is working.
21) They still aren't getting that EVs are not the wave of the future. They are urban golf carts, fine for toodling around town looking rich and impotent, but people still don't trust them. Hybrids are not popular, as now you have two propulsion systems to break. So carmakers introduced a new hybrid, only they don't want to call it that. Under this "Extended Range EV," you will have a gas engine to fill up which doesn't even turn tires. It only exists to recharge the battery. No, not the Babylon Bee.

22) Tesla is making inroads (no pun intended) into driverless cars, and so far not a single Tesla (non) driver has assaulted a single person, whereas Uber had reports of over 400,000 sexual assaults.
23) After getting mildly rebuffed by President Trump, South Koreans have invested $23 billion in a TX gas plant.
IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS
24) Climbers urinating on Mount Everest are responsible for parts of glaciers breaking off. Ok, probably an unpopular view, but access to Everest should be shut down. Not because of this, but because people have been there, "summited," and now its a continual (and dangerous) rope line to the top. I understand it's a golden goose for Nepal (about $7 million a year) and generates some sherpa employment. But is this really necessary any more?
25) Iran said it fired several ballistic missiles at a U.S. carrier and other ships. You'd never know it. None even got remotely close. But the U.S. did sink three Iranian warships in response. You shoot at us and miss, we shoot at you and hit.
26) Germany's AfD Party, which is not a "far right" but a pretty centrist party, won big in Saxony. How much clout that gives the party in the government remains to be seen, but getting 44% in a multiparty system is pretty good, and a 77% turnout to do so is even better. Much of this is that Germans are sick of destroying their own economy. Hun industrial output dropped in July.
27) The images from Cueto, Spain are disgusting. The illegal invaders caught a small dolphin close to shore and beat it to death.
28) Think of this: as Great Britain, there was a nation in which 179 soldiers defeated a 4,000 Zulu army in 24 hours at Roarke's Drift, or who send waves of heroes after the Hun in 1917 or who saw movie stars lying in order to climb into fighter planes and fight the Nazis in 1940. Now the transit authority in Mediocre Britain is installing dog kennels in subway cars as "calm spaces."
IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
29) Rick Santelli at CNBC, the man almost single-handedly responsible for the "TEA Party" movement by calling for a new tea party on air that would stand for "Taxed Enough Already," has retired.
30) In 2019 production started at Warner Bros. on a half-animated/half-real action comedy called "Coyote v. Acme." Then, attempting to get more film credit money, WB shelved it, finally allowing the producers to seek other funding and distribution in 2025 when Ketchup bought it for . . . $50 million. Yikes. It's a good, funny movie, especially for those who remember Wile E. Coyote's hapless attempts to get the smug roadrunner from decades ago. Like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" the film features an animated Coyote who cannot talk but can only hold up signs including one that says "The Number of Signs is Limited." who gets the idea to sue Acme for defective products. The plot then brings in the evil DoWar that is just testing these products on toons before using them on people. All the Looney Tunes characters show up, most done well except the voices are not Mel Blanc and just don't have that same magic. Wile E. finds a willing attorney and the rest is his courtroom case. Without a spoiler, the Roadrunner finally is softened a bit. The only question ever not even asked is, "How does Wile E. stay alive if he can never eat?" I would have ended this at a KFC or Popeyes. Anyway, SHORT (under 2 hours) and solid comedy---sometimes the images go by a little too fast. Not LOTR, but suitable for kids. It has raked in $44m in its first real week, but at $50m has to pull in at least $150m to be profitable. I give it a B+.
By the way, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" now is over $2.4 billion. That's with a "b."
IN MEDICAL NEWS
31) Some were ready to turn on Dan Bongino when arrests weren't happening fast enough. Now the New York Slimes reports that in early 2025 Bongino summoned numerous FBI agents to HQ to interrogate them about the "lab leak" and thereby set in motion a "sprawling and aggressive investigative effort." At least eight scientists were under investigation, of whom only one, Dr. Fallacy, had a pardon. Here's the clincher: the FBI pulled them into a grand jury for testimony. Did you know there was a grand jury seated for the Little Mengeles? Wait. It gets better. The article named a Maryland grand jury and a "separate line of investigation" in . . . Cleveland. A grand jury doesn't guarantee an indictment, but does mean a criminal investigation is under way.
32) Really astounding. This obese they/them uglified pile of portly pigpiddlings says Ozempic and other weight loss drugs are a "fascist" plot to genocide fat people, apparently failing to understand that obesity is the fascist plot. Oh well. Bye.

AND FINALLY . . .
33) A 20-year-old student hero leaped through an In-n-Out burger window and fended off a crazed woman attacking the staff using only a spatula! You know, I treat every spatula as though it were loaded.
